Great job sir, just found your channel and appreciate the common sense advice you offer to folks just starting out in the Pokémon card business. My family and I are trying our hand at it and have found your channel to be such a valuable resource. Keep it up man, you’re making a difference.

Your growth is amazing. I love and relate to your content. I doubt I can open a shop like yourself but understanding the mindset is great knowledge that can be applied to any self owned business.

It’ll usually help the focus if you hold your hand flat behind the card so the camera isn’t searching the background for focus and really only “sees” the card because your hand is now the background. Another great video, thank you for the honest and COMPLETE information yet again. You explain all of the relevant details that most usually just glaze over briefly if they talk about them at all. Appreciate all the videos, keep em coming!

I just started selling on TCG Player because of you but I was getting a little worried and wondered if selling at the "lowest" price like many others do would be worth my time. I cant thank you enough for the goldmine of info you have provided and continue to provide. I wish you nothing but the best in your business. I've been grinding a ton of hours trying to get my personal 5K bulk lot I've built over the last couple of years organized to try and sell to hopefully one day get enough capital to start my own brick and mortar store.

Thank you for saying this! I did my first 62 card, penny-a-card sale before watching this just to get rep on TCG player. It was not worth it. I ended up making an Excel sheet and finding my cost to sell different volumes of cards in one transaction. The takeaway I got from this exercise was that the lowest I can sell a card for is 36 cents, because if a buyer only wants 9 or 10 cards, then I only make one penny on that transaction after my cost of shipping materials and postage is accounted for. At 25 cents, I'm only profitable if I selling 1, 2, or more than 15 cards at once.

Your gonna make me go through my 10k bulk I was going to send out tomorrow and pull some cards out.

And you talked about that you should learn the meta game etc. I like to ask you if you can make a video about it how you research the metagame, what sources you use to research on it, how a card is good for tournaments etc.
