Hey! Great vid, unfortunately I had to learn a lot of these lessons the hard way, but they are important lessons nonetheless. One note - unless it’s changed in the last 6 months or so, TCGplayer takes their 13% fee out of the shipping cost as well as the principal listing price. So the correct workbook layout would actually be “sell price” then “shipping price” then factor in “13% TCGplayer fee”. I used to list every card I got until I realized there were orders for small value cards where I was actually taking home less than the $0.55 stamp cost. No bueno. Hope this helps so others don’t waste time on loss listings like I did

Man I appreciate the knowledge, I have bulk on bulk, and it just continues to pile up. I never thought about being able to recoup some of my investment through bulk. I’ve been on KZfaq since 2011 and just recently started posting videos, and giveaways... so it would be nice to bring in the extra cash flow to be able to continue posting openings and giveaways.

I’ve been researching Pokémon cards a lot recently because my buddy is getting married and we’re going to be selling his vintage Pokémon collection. 300-400 cards all 1st edition base set immediately sleeved and top loaded upon open. We will document and make a KZfaq video of us opening the storage box and laying everything soon :-)
