Got radio and r9m module firmware updated. Just don't know what firmware to use on mini if I only plan on using sbus. Qx7, clracing f4s, frsky r9 mini receiver.

Hey buddy quick questions if I may great video btw, ok I'm using rf4 board I was using xsr frsky rx which uses tx1 on board and and and Vcc,so I'm now converting to use r9mm rx which on the rx has fport and sbus do I wire just straight from f port on rx too tx1 on f4 board ? And also I need to update the firmware on the rx for flex I noticed to got the power direct from the terrains but I was under the I,precession that the r9mm rx Can t take more than 10v how did you manage that without burning the rx

what is the button on the back of the R9m for. does the power level really change automatically or do I have to flip the dip switches. I pre-ordered it at Ready Made RC where did you pre-order yours. I got my r9m $40 on eBay . 50 bucks total how could I not try it

if receiver already setup with sbus and s.port. Cant i just put firmware to f.port and change tab in betaflight and go. Not have to remove sbus wire

Did you do anything to get RSSI from AUX via f.port? I can't get RSSI from channel 8 or 16, all just sit at 1500 (no signal)

Do you have to flash the reciever threw f.port even if your going to use it for just S.Bus?

In case signals needn’t be inverted or your receiver has an inverter, then please connect the signal wire to the Rx of UART1/UART3/UART6.)" I connect the S.port on some Uart TX but is not working... also i am changing the cli commands *Inverted on *halfduplex on But nothing...no transmitter, no telemetry Any suggestions ?

I have the R9M and also have the R9 mini receivers but mostly have F4 boards. I know for sure my Hobbywing Xrotor has an inverted Sbus port so it will work. I also just ordered the Dalrc F722 and this one should also work with no issues. So just to be clear... I need to update the receiver to the F port software and then solder the power, ground and F port on the receiver to a spare UART TX? So i don't bother soldering the S port wire at all? I also have an R9MM receiver as well. Will the R9mm work the same? From what i understand the only receiver that needs an inverted port is the R9 mini and the R9MM does not right? One last question. Have you seen the new flex software that just came out a few days ago? What's up with that? Should I be using this software instead of the one released in May ? Sorry for all the questions and thanks . Love your videos man. I have shared it already with a bunch of friends

Do you know if anyone has actually compared and tested the delay speed with the fport protocol compared to the delay speed of sbus protocol. I am noticing a a small delay with the R9 mini on fport protocol which I never noticed with the sbus protocol. Maybe it's just something I overlooked before but it would be nice to know for sure that fport protocol is faster since that is what Frsky claims.

Thanks for your video. When I flash fport firmware to the reciever it lost the bind to the module. I've tried to bind it and it won't bind back. I also tried to flash the old firmware and now it still won't bind. Any inputs would be appreciated.
