Don't be so hard on yourself! There are SOOO many KZfaqrs out here who are so annoying, yet they have scads of followers. Girl, you're fine. They stay successful because they have turned off the switch that makes them care what others think. However, I totally get your self-consciousness, so I am not one to tell someone not to be that way lol. I always assume whomever I'm talking to in the moment wants nothing more than to escape the conversation, so there's that, but yes...there really is no reason for anyone to dislike you. Take the influx of followers as a sign that you're good and serve a purpose to the people who do appreciate you, no matter what anyone else thinks. No one is 100% everyone's cup of tea, and people can see themselves out if that's the case and that's not even your fault. Care what your followers and prospective followers think about your content, but give yourself a break. You are endearing, and as long as you keep that quality as well as your humility, (not self-doubt), you're just going to keep growing. Look at all that word vomit I just typed. I actually just wanted to say that I am jonesing for Khaltat Night so hard because of your channel, I'm just scared to bite the bullet because I have a spotty history with ME fragrances, and that one is pricier than most in that category. I gotta find a decant somewhere. If my nose would translate it the same way yours does, that business is straight up my jam. Have you checked out Lattafa Affection yet?

If so, It’s working!❤ Thank you for emphasizing the darker energy that us women have to have to navigate through life . Matthew 10:16 also mentions this about women: ‘Here I am sending you out like sheep with wolves all round you; so be as wise as serpents and yet as harmless as doves. But be on your guard against men.’ That is not to sound sexist at all, because I know men should be alert and on their guard as well in certain situations. But that instinct generally comes more naturally to men than it does for women, since men are the protectors. I loooove Black Perfecto! And Coco M! You’re absolutely right! I wanted to comment on a prior video you made, when you mentioned this Black Perfecto fragrance: it really is 1 of only 2 cherry dominant fragrances I can actually wear, the other being Cartier Delices (sadly discontinued). I have to get my nose on some of the other ones you mentioned! I think another beautiful perfume that evokes the ‘I’m nice but aloof and choose my people wisely so don’t mess with me or try to manipulate me’ aura is the Bottega Venetia line! Bottega Eau de Velours is my personal pick for evoking dark feminine energy, actually I think it’s near gothic. So I think people get the message with that one. 😂 also, surprisingly, Narciso Pure Musc and Phlur Missing Person EDP, both are gentle and very warm musks, but they have this certain lack of sweetness to them that indicates ‘I mean business, I don’t tolerate or partake in drama or gossip, I’m not a flirt, and I’m professional and here to be taken seriously.’ Job well done dear! Your channel will continue to grow! You have an amazing personality and such a calming positive energy and demeanor, and you keep it real, and we really appreciate that. 🤗

I’ll think I’m making a friend and get excited and then self sabotage and assume they really don’t like me they just feel bad for me or are humoring me. I do it constantly and I’m 43. Loved the video idea. I agree that I choose to interpret dark as the other side of me, but not evil, just the side that can, foe instance, be firm enough to set healthy limits on any rapport. Even though people dislike that and criticize your choice.

This video makes lots of sense (scents!), Carmen. Dark feminine energy is something we all have at times whether we understand it or can explain it or not. We all have moments of being unapologetically ourselves, and your explanations of these fragrances all point to the fact that we are all capable of all of the things. Sometimes that means we need space, and sometimes we crave intimacy in any or all of its forms, but we are all looking to satisfy our desire to exude (via our fragrance) whatever the HECK it is we wish to personify in that moment. :) I'm not sure if that makes sense (scents!) to anyone but me, but there it is. xo

I don’t wear mine for the same reason lol but I do wear black perfecto the most when I need to be lifted in my mood, I’m going through perimenopause and my hormones are giving me mood swings , black perfecto just makes me feel more grounded, I don’t know how else to explain that lol P.S.
