I definitely feel that Ryan will be back. The world he was left in looked extremely technologically advanced, he just needs to find that worlds Jason and explain the box so he can build it, all the while tweaking his formula with the help of this advanced society’s smartest minds.

The Box has the same co-ordinates in every universe. Means it will always be at the same place in every universe. So if you lift the box and move it like some 50ft forward in one universe it’ll automatically move 50 feet forward in every universe and Jason 1 can easily open the door because the concrete wall will be 50 feet behind the box so Jason 1 can easily enter his universe. No need of building a second Box

I question getting an hotel in another world. How did they book it. With a credit card from their original world? Someone explain this to me please. :(

I find it curious that while Jason1 cannot find his world, Amanda2 was able to find Blair2 by accident in an entirely different world than they both came from. Perhaps this indicates that the "pilot" needs to focus on a person, not a world. And maybe the focal person needs to have travelled through the box as well? Maybe Amanda2 should try and target Jason2 in order to find universe1?

My theory is that there are likely multiple Jason's already on Jason 1's world, and when they try to get back to the box, they see it encased in concrete. They will likely try to bust through the concrete to get at the door.

Jason 1 met blonde daniela at the art gallery. he and amanda meet at the box. !**snap*! outside motel. jason 1 leaves, watches dark haired daniela and jason(?) dancing in house. goes back to hotel, says he was following daniela and jason. 1) wouldnt blonde daniela recognize him at art gallery if shes together with different jason in her world? 2) if she had blonde hair, how did she have dark hair at the house? obv. different universe 3) we didnt see them go from box to motel. maybe they switched universe and went to different hotel. 4) crazy theory-jason went to different universe to watch jason and daniela, and then returned...but that would mean he learned to control the box and also doesnt make sense when he said "I promise i would never leave you" when he got back to the hotel.

If you use the box that suddenly appeared in the middle of the highway as an example, presumably the local authorities there would have that box moved to some other location (government warehouse, etc) to be studied/investigated. If someone with an ampoule were to enter that box in its new location, the traveler would create a new box in that new location in all universes they travel to. That's how you could end up with two boxes in different locations in the same universe, without having to ever build another box.

I read the book back in 2016 so my memory of the plot is starting to fail me, but I think this series has made quite a few changes from the novel. For instance, I don't recall a second box. That's not to say a second box won't be added to this series as Apple and the producers are perhaps looking to expand the story beyond just 1 season.

That is how I feel .. It would be nice to see more of the new worlds . And I think in episodes one or two They saw them selfie's get kill in a different world.. just before they escape from Jason 2's world .. So that means there have to be multiple boxes made by different Jason's.. The question I want to know is, can there be two boxes in a different location ..

The box that good jason uses already isnt in the exact coordinate. he and amanda visited water world, the box sunken into the water... the coordinates were altered.

Why doesn't Jason think of the world that his kidnaper is in and Amanda think of the world that her real husband is in? End of story!

Ryan 1 could meet with Jason 1 in the new world Ryan chose because of the note Amanda 1 wrote a world like this on the paper which could be Ryan 1’s new world and as Ryan knows how to create the serum he could make more to help Jason 1 perhaps together they even make a new box or an alternative device.

I don’t know abt a second box but someone did point out that the box opens inwardly not outwardly. Therefore the door of the box can be opened, you just need a sledgehammer or something to break open the concrete. If Jason1 ever navigates bk to his world, Jason2 technically wouldn’t even know it until it’s too late. But I’m presuming that scheming/conniving/evil Jason2 has a cold hearted contingency plan for Jason1’s arrival. Jason1 just needs to count his losses and start a new life w/Amanda1 😅. Naw, he couldn’t do that, then he wouldn’t truly be Jason1!

I noticed the continuity snap

The only odd thing with the box sealing is if it were down to me I would fill the interior with concrete while also sealing the exterior. The exterior only sealing means visitors can still arrive on Earth1. If they manage to open the door they would just be greeted by concrete. We saw this example when J1 and A2 arrived in a box that was buried. It also leaves the possibility that J2 might plan to unseal it again as a contingency should he need to abandon Earth1. Another shocker that J2 could be in for is that he does not know that J1 and A2 were in a box that sunk on the tsunami Earth. This should have changed its coordinates by the time they were able to rejoin superposition. It is assumed the boxed reverted to the same coordinates as they got to the Earth with Blair2 in the abandoned Velocity Labs but I do not remember them confirming the GPS coordinates. So the sealed box might be bypassed with a second box or by changing the position of the current box before joining superposition. Going back to thoughts of J2 considering an Earth1 exit strategy, we get hints of this in his conversation with Amanda1 as it looks like impostor syndrome is taking hold of him. Even Amanda could detect cracks through his facade of a 15 year marriage as she was not detecting the conversation of married family man. I enjoyed the psyche evaluations from both Amanda's in this episode. This also continues on from Blair2's firsthand experience of how continual box usage can cause travellers to mentally crack over time while living in a worldless state. We also see part of Blair2's concerns of trying to integrate into worlds that may also be homes to your alternates with what is happening with J2. The core personality of J2 is also coming to the surface as he wants the J1 life while also retaining some of his Earth2 successes at the same time. This will keep him in constant conflict with D1 and C1, himself and everyone who knew J1 as J2 never originally developed on Earth1. In the end we also see J2 make a rash decision to remove Ryan1 from Earth1 without first identifying how he came by the spent ampoule until it was too late. This now creates a butterfly effect in Earth1. A recent Pavia prize winner and researcher has now suddenly gone missing and he was last seen with his longtime friend in a public place. Ryan1's investors and partners will no doubt launch an investigation into his sudden disappearance and we might see Earth1's version of the detective who was grilling L2 earlier on in the show. That is assuming she is also a detective in the Earth1. This will be compounded with the greater mistrust D1 will soon have for J2 once she comes to realise Ryan1 has gone missing after confiding in him.

I presumed that once the box was created it was just there in every parallel world that it could be. Either that or there's really only one box and it spiderwebs portals through the adjacent - read a jason-ed - universes - the drugs heighten the perceptions of the portals or possible universes - like being able to perceive the sliding doors moments - infinite choices infinite possibilities - We are 6 episodes in and I don't know man I think we should be further along in the story - Who is Amanda - she's just kinda hanging around and the only explanation we have is that she was living with Jason 2 - Personally Im still waiting for Jasons 3 4 and 5 - Can Ryan team up with that world Jason - the continuity chime did change universes - maybe there are 3 Jasons already but their universes are running so close together we (the audience) aren't catching it?

The absence of advanced world exploration after six episodes is disappointing. Jason 2 hinted to Ryan 1 before he left him in that world, about it being “more progressive”. Jason 3, potentially possessing the finest attributes of Jason 1 and 2, could collaborate with Ryan 1 to create a more sophisticated version of the box/ampul. Interestingly, Ryan 1 could also seek assistance from Ryan 3, given their “forward-thinking” nature. I’m anticipating the unveiling of this world in episode 7.

How are they paying for things in the different universes? Doesn't the cash change or something?

Could it be possible that that snap was going to a different reality where there is a third Jason who is on a very similar trajectory to Jason 1's. That would mean in both realities Jason went on a walk but in the one they transitioned to during the snap was actually the third Jason not the 1st. That's why The Blonde Daniela didn't notice him even though apparently they are married and living together -- he was watching them dancing which confused me and I think that is why.. not to mention the different color signs and of course I truly don't think the snap was a continuity error. That would be a big one.. we're not talking about a prop missing in a shot or something. So yeah I haven't read the book so complete speculation but I would say when we are watching Jason and Daniela we are actually switching between 2 different Jason's and Daniela's that are in realities that are still somewhat synced up.

I think the boxes pop up to wherever a person open’s the door. So closing a box doesn’t really matter because a box could open in another location. To me it similar how multiple people can be in the box and traveling to new worlds, but don’t see each other. The box they are in is connected to their minds. So unless they enter the box together…they are in different boxes.

He put Ryan in that world because Ryan was a threat now. Ryan was knowledgeable enough about the project and that made him dangerous. Plus, after talking with Daniella and testing the ampoule, he knew too much. There was no other choice. It's like he killed Ryan without having to kill him. So, Ryan 1 is gone, just like Leighton 2...we will never see them again. But it will present a huge problem later because when Daniela finds out Ryan is missing, she'll automatically know it was Jason 2 and that will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Also, it is clear that Jason 2 is incapable of getting it right in this world. He may be able to travel to different worlds, but he can't completely become the Jason of this world. He can only be who he is. That's why i loved the line he said to Amanda the therapist when he said, "I worked so hard to get here, and it's all fucked. It's not what i thought it was going to be". He now knows he might have made a bad decision by coming here and he's contemplating leaving. Another great line was Daniella telling him in the car that he doesn't care about her, he only cares about pleasing himself. His best attempts to the people he loves that he cares for them continues to backfire because he doesn't really know them and it's not who he is to try. He justs wants them to accept the new him. Which is what Amanda 2 said in an earlier episode was the reason her relationship with Jason 2 was rocky. But his decision in the end shows that he'd rather stay in this world, getting it wrong, then risk Jason 1 returning and taking this life back.

I thought the multiple box theory was already proven. Wouldn't there have to be more boxes built in other multiverses. Case in point when Jason 1 and Amanda are in the Hornet world, they are shown a security video of Amanda coming out of the box a year earlier than Jason 1 and Amanda 2 with the Hornets following her out. Since that was another version of Amanda traveling a year earlier wouldn't that mean there has to be at least one box created earlier in another world than the box created in world 2.

I think Jason 1 might team up with another Jason from one of the next worlds he visits and explain the situation. Surely there are other Jasons with a similar predicament to either Jasons and possibly already made their own boxes, maybe even a different design altogether... Or Jason 2 will have an affair with Amanda 1 and get caught, then find himself breaking that concrete himself to start over in another world.

I just want to understand why there was a scene with Jason sleeping in the same bed as his colleague. I was under the impression that he loved his wife and son? I know for a fact in that hotel room, they each had their own bed. So, wtf?

No, no, no. Layton 2 deserves to die. Why do you want to know what happens with him or Layton 1. Jason 2 knows everything about the Box, and yet you believe he doesn't know about a second box? smh. What we do know ... is the he box ... must exist .... at this point ... and TIME .... to move between world. There has been no .... time travel .... so far? A good theory is Jason 1 ... figures out time travel ..... after returning to his world the box encased in concrete. Travel back a couple of weeks .. and they can exit the box. This would also men Jason 1 could fix all the damage done .... by Jason 2 and Layton 2. And no. There 's not enough time to explore every world. Jason 1 is doing a crash course ... learning how to navigate the multiverse ... and with another person, whereas Jason 2 learned everything by himself being typically selfish. If Jason 1 becomes the better pilot who can time travel ... then he could go back to Jason 2's world where he chose career ahead of family.

The part where the chime plays between siting outside the box and at the hotel was not an error! They did switch realties, just off screen. When they are sitting at the box that is the reality with blonde Daniela, but when we cut to the hotel and Jason1 goes for his walk in the rain, he is following a brunette Daniela who is with another Jason. If they were in the same world, then blonde Daniela should have recognized him but she didn’t. Also you can clearly see when he is looking in their window that Daniela is brunette suggesting they switched worlds sometime between sitting outside the box and the hotel. Thus, the chime was not an error!
