This is the most underrated album of all time

It really does have a bunch of really good songs on it with Brother, Free, Fill Me Again, and Heal in Time leading the way. The harmonies are really good as both Clint and Troy have great voices. Take a listen to Brett's album with Virgos Merlot and Clint's album with Call Me No One which are both really good as well.

Agree with the comments regarding this whole album. Every song kicked serious ass. Lead singers voice and their harmony together is ridiculous.

this stuff is mindblowing man, i want the music industry to bow the fuck down and explain to me why there is no stuff like this in the mainstream media, im pissed bro

This album is 16 years old and it holds up as well today as it did then … Simply outstanding.

I edited this video and a few others from this session, and I have to say DND is a phenomenal band!

Clinton should've focused more on this band. The high speed writing process doesn't bring out what Sevendust and Dark New Day are capable of. We're missing their great writing today.

What an amazing performance man, I wish this guys still around

Basically, half of the band members had opportunities to work with larger acts (Evanescence, Korn, Motley Crue, etc) and they abandoned Dark New Day to pursue those opportunities. I don't blame them for doing so. But I wish that the other acts recruited someone else. Because some of these songs have stood the test of time and its a shame their work didn't continue.

I found this album totally at random. It was stuffed inside the case of another used CD I bought. Why have I never heard of these guys and why didn't they get more play? I have either really bad or obscure taste in music. These guys are GREAT.

Little back cap on these guys. Only Clint is from 7dust, his brother is the bass player, the drummer of I’m not mistaking is from skrape, singer Brent I believe was the bass player for creed and was backing vocals for Scott stapp. A bunch of childhood friends coming back together is all 😎

always thought this song on the album was weak. Much better in this format

Sounds great and all but who's doing Brett's backing vocals 3:50??? Did they use some playback on this?
@nfindc6 ай бұрын
Thank you for picking up on that too. Troy McClawhorn was singing harmonies with Brent on the first chorus, but I noticed here too he wasn't on the chorus before the bridge. More than likely, they did use playback here. I've never been a fan of it, but I understand it's purpose. Some musicians don't don't perform well if they're expected to sing and play on-key every stanza. Troy's primary job is to play, and especially in concert, you want to contribute your best effort. He probably did sing some harmony but focused on his guitar work above all else.
