I'm back! And to wash out the taste of Batman: Dark Tomorrow, let's take a look at a rare good movie-licensed game.

Honestly this is a game I wish Marvel would revisit. The energy management system has a great idea that could be done well like in Tie Fighter, and the weapon selection has a brilliant idea and the opportunity to explore the modular system of the Iron Man system. I could see a multimap open sandbox like MGSV. And adapting the legendary Armor Wars story of the comics

I have this game on the PlayStation 2 and personally it’s not a bad game it’s really good I highly recommend to Iron-Man fans it’s similar to the wii port which is good. I give it a 7/10 the character models in the cutscenes are hilarious to look at 😂

Fun game, I played this all the time when I had it on PSP (it's the same as this version but with an extra suit of armor, the Titanium Man armor).

The pre-rendered cutscenes in this version (along with the PS2 Version) are from the X360/PS3 Version Jadow.

I've heard the Wii and PSP are the best versions of this game in particular. Especially when compared to the 360 and PS3 versions, which were a mess.

I just got this game for my birthday, and I've been having a blast! The gameplay is fun and addictive and the writing is funny. One of the only things that I think could improve it is if it went on a bit longer, because I've only been playing it in short spurts for the past 20 or so hours, and I'm already near endgame.

black sabbath playing in the opening level is one of my favorite gaming moments ever, it just kicked ass to play iron man, set to iron man, its also the first time i heard the song and it honestly sounds like it fits more with the MK1 armor designs, or even Iron Giant

Fun fact: the song is written about a robot that went back in time to save the future. But everyone ignored it and it got ragefull and caused half of the human population to go down and caused death, then realized it was the reason why the future was destroyed. Man Ozzy and his band mates were on some insane drugs while making that song lol good song

Oh yeah... Believe it or not but a song from the Dragon Ball Z Budokai/Budokai Tenkaichi series actually ripped off Iron Man by Black Sabbath... I'm not even joking...

I haven't played the game on the X Box for about two years (and if I love or even like a game I play it every few months, so it probably wasn't good), but I remember is being somewhat decent but not living to its full potential. This version looks really good though. I'll have to keep a look out for it. Thanks for the review!

I just got this game today, and it really is an awesome game. Much better than the xbox 360 and playstation 3 versions.

my biggest problem with motrion controls in games like this is the targeting and camera, im not so shaky handed that i cant aim with it, but its so sensitive that while trying to aim i could miss the minute i move my thumb to hit the button, games like this one are better for the PS2 since it removes that problem

I imagine something "going pear-shaped" coming to mean something bad originates from something that's not supposed to be pear-shaped becoming pear-shaped. Seems almost self-explanatory to me.

Thanks for this review man, I would never have found this game. I love games like this, some consider unique games likes this bad, I love 'em. Quirky and odd never means crappy. I've played more hours of GIJOE rise of cobra than I can count and that game is very strange indeed. It's like Neo contra on steroids, they even put the logo in one of the select screens... check it out!!

i demo tried that game, and JESUS CHRIST THE LEVELS ARE HUGE!!!! and the combat is too hectic to keep track of where you are, just saying

like you I don't have an Xbox 360 or a PS3 I used to have a PS3 but it broke and now I just have a Wii but you know what I think I'm actually happier with my Wii

My biggest concern with this game is that the punching and camera controls are both controlled with the the remote waggle, which means the every time I try to punch a guy, the camera goes all over the place >:C

When do you complete the save pepper mission? When I play it,it never seems to end.

I haven't played the game in a while bit it's supposed to end after you destroy all of the missiles they shoot down at the base. I believe the missiles begin appearing after you kill all of the enemies who initially try to destroy her building- counting all the tanks and foot soldiers. I've heard from another player whose game was glitched so that level crashed all the time, but you never know whether their disc is intact or not.

I had this Game but I took it back to GameStop because I was a kid at the time how Do you unlock costumes and equip them ? My favorite Games are the ones with alternate costumes

There are a grand total of 6 costumes you unlock just by progressing through the story and you pick a suit at the start of each mission. The suit you select has no impact on your stats, so you can use the cool-looking prototype suits without screwing yourself with a weaker loadout or stats. The suits are: Movie MK 1 Movie MK 2 Movie MK 3 Comic MK 1 Classic Comic Look Comic Silver Centurion

@@Comiccollector239 It's been a while since I played the game. I think it outright asks you to select an unlocked suit after you select a mission but before you select your weapons; or it might just be on the screen where you select your weapons. This is for the Wii version, I must stress: I have no idea how suits work in the XBox 360 and PS3 version.

OMG A MOVIE BASED GAME THAT IS GOOD!? Am I on Mars?! @-@ I cannot believe that this game is so good, minus some artistic wonder for the cut-scenes. Oh well we cant have a perfect game. :) As for the Art of War, no in Art of War Sun Tzu would recommend to the terrorists to only make Iron Man believe she is there causing him to go on a pointless mission while they destroy his main city whilst he is away. Go strategy pawns Attrition strategy.

Dark Void. That's the only other game I know of where you can go from running around on foot to flying (you have a jetpack) and the environments are actually big enough for you to utilize the mechanic. Too bad the game itself was mostly crap... In fact, you might want to review it if you can find a copy ;)

Yeah; loads of fun. It's got its flaws no doubt, but it's a fairly well designed game. I'd say give it a shot.
