heck even the ps3 and Xbox and wii u versions of TASM2 suck. TASM2 sucks the first game was better in every way and on top of that it looked better too.

I haven't seen any footage yet. I think I'm going to buy it tomorrow after I've seen the movie. Hopefully the Wii U won't get screwed. I don't think it's even getting released on the normal Wii.

Well seeing as how The Amazing Spider-Man is a much larger game compared to the previous games, the levels are somewhat larger, and the game was primarily designed for HD consoles, unfortunately yes.

Not to mention the Wii was an underpowered welfare console, and this is coming from someone who liked the Wii.

So much for asking the question XD As for me, I actually liked some of the VERY old Disney Interactive action games (like Toy Story 2, Tarzan ). As for more recent games, though, I don't think any movie license game could top the Adventures of Tin Tin on the iPad/iPhone. It's a completely different animal than its console counterparts (MUCH better, imho), and even though it's on the easy end of the spectrum and is short, the graphics are awesome for its time, and is enjoyable to play.

Matthew Kwok Another good one is Spider-Man 2 on the Gamecube's generation; though it hasn't really aged well since its sequels have really improved the mechanics, even if they've been inferior games. It's still fun though.

Spider-Man 3 and Web of Shadows are both open world on the Wii; this version isn't open-world because they just ported the 3DS version to the Wii rather than make a Wii Port. Lego Batman 2 is also open-world on the Wii but it has a shit-ton of extra load screens.

Pretty much every beat-em-up game on modern consoles has a system where you can counter enemies and they're not ripoffs of Arkham; that is not the point. The point is that the Amazing Spider-Man has the Arkham Combat system copied EXACTLY. It's the exact same system, just implemented poorly with less aggressive enemies.

Beenox are owned by Activision. So yeah, it's the same difference as it's all the same company.

They still contracted the developers to make the game it's still an Activision game don't try to defend them.
