This guy was tough, but the music that played during the fight was epic.

The way death delivers the final blow is so G especially against bosses like corruption

I think that the battle with Archon was the most beatiful in Darksiders.

One of my favorite Darksiders boss fights, reminds me of the one with Abaddon.

The thing that makes this fight so good to me was that it reminded me of the Abbadon fight.

I think this series deserves a revival man. Sometimes I see it as a discount god of war(dont ask how/why, there are few similarities) but I had lots of fun with it.

This is easily the best boss in the game, with the lore and dialog

I found myself saying that alot during this game. Some characters felt like they didn't need to be killed off. I mean. I guess that is kinda Death's deal though.

This fight was etched on my mind, cause my goodness the stage was so beautiful and the soundtrack doing tempo with their dialogues oh goodness it was a blend of best things coalescing to form a grand battle

Thanx god, you are not talking! I am sick and tired ot gameplay videos where the player never shut his mouth! You should use secondary weapon to kill him faster, and when he is on ground - let ghouls do dirty work.

My favorite boss fight from the game!

Archon was a pretty hard boss to beat. You can have full health and max potions but he will chew through them faster than you can say "shit" if you're not careful.

This guy also voiced The Prince in PoP: Warrior Within.

That was a great boss fight, this game kicks ass.

OMG...yOU HIT HIM 4-5 times and he stops your attack and stands up in with a swag and then the music changes with a BASS...Listen at 2:32 what an experience..

the guy in the crucible is no angel. we dont know what he is. He has no wings, could be nephilim or a fallen angel or something else entirely. Uriels pretty badass she leads whats left of the hellguard. The angel of death is still there from the first game, and maybe more cool angels will be introduced in ds3

when i played against archon, when he grabbed stone like in 4:36 i was like ''oh shit shit shit'' but then when death became reaper like in 4:48 i was like ''don't fuck with Death!''

Others can rise up to power I wouldn't rule out anything yet to be honest. Time will tell.

archon is voiced by the guy who did yasha in asuras wrath, they seriously sound the exact same.

You have to consider that there are likely more angels in heaven. But the apocalypse was instigated by abbadon and the hellguard but not all of the angels.

And I find them both to be cool characters. I wish Archon had a few more scenes though. We get to see what Yasha was like, but not the Archon.

Well here is my beef... Hell has all these bad ass enemies like Samiel and even Lucifer will be in the next one. What does heaven have left? Uriel? Even if the Archon isn't dead he is still corrupted and has his wings cut off so he can't be a good guy. The only two I can think of is the crucible angel and Nathaniel (the angel who sells weapons)

In the comic books, Azrael is depicted as a pretty powerful one. But he isn't an enemy. You're sort of right it looks a little unbalanced...

They are not weak they are just outnumbered because of what abaddon did, they hve been locked out of heaven, their numbers dwindling. They can not get reinforcements from the rest of the hell guard in heaven

when the final boss is killed, corruption is completely destroyed, thus he may no longer be corrupted, although he does have a large hole in his abdomen

Yeah it does make sense considering thats his biblical name and title. Archangel is a title given to powerful/high ranking angels. Do a quick google search and educate yourself.

Everyone is weak compared to death lol, you cant win, even samael, death eventually outmatched his speed. He is the most feared horseman. He is the grim reaper afterall

Am I the only one who is seriously bothered by the fact the game basically takes away your finishing move from you and puts it in a cutscene? I'd at least like some action commands or something, otherwise I feel like the game killed the boss and I didn't.

My favourite boss fight in the whole game, and you ruined it by sucking...your "technique" (if it can even be called that) was deplorable. You had no style, flourish, or even strategy. You didn't even activate Reaper form even though it became available only seconds into the fight. Don't even get me started on your fashion sense...or lack thereof. If your going to post videos of you fighting game bosses at least learn a thing or two about showmanship and theatrics. The Archon is an awesome boss fight. Love the fight everytime I playthrough. So epic.

Wow you were that much updated, difficulty level as my experience was not that high and you still need 3 potions (I forgot what it was called) and you said its kind of shame. First be a gamer and play some games with highest difficulty and without any potions then go on judging and uploading. And seriously learn to dodge, that's the essence of gaming.
