that's kinda what I thought, but it also could've taken the nephalim souls from the shards in Death's, right side, chest and used that as a sacrifice instead. Or it took both their souls and resurrected both the nephalim and humans...just brainstorming at this point.

The first part of Darksiders takes place before any of the other games, Darksiders 2 takes place sometime after War was chained to the ground By the Council, And by The time Crowd at her knocks Death Unconscious, Darksiders 3 takes place, During the time Darksiders 3 takes place, Death is still traveling through the Portal, the Reason the Council doesn't Know where he is is because he doesn't have a watcher, Which are like what you think. Once Darksiders 3 is over, Death wakes up in the forge Lands, and Darksiders 2 starts. Unlike some think, Darksiders 1 and 2 DO NOT take place simultaneously. As Since War was Chained To the Council, Darksiders 2 Takes place 90 human Years before the events of the Rest of Darksiders. So, in simple terms: 2010: The first Part of Darksiders happens, and War is defeated. Then the first Part of Darksiders 2 takes place, Until the end of the Crowfather boss Battle, where Death is transported to the forge lands. Darksiders 3 takes place after Death is knocked Unconscious. When Darksiders 3 ends, The rest of Darksiders 2 takes place. Then the Rest of Darksiders Happens, and War breaks the last seal, Summoning The Horsemen, and bringing their status back up, As the horsemen were currently in these states: Death actually dies in the ending, for he sacrifices himself to restore the souls of humankind. So in DS3 Strife reveals himself with both pistols, mercy (given to War by Ulthane) and redemption (acquired from maker in maker’s world by Death) in his possession. I feel like after Fury escapes with the humans Strife hands Mercy to Ulthane and goes separate ways since they really cant stop the Destroyer right then and somehow journeys to the maker’s world probably for the same reason as Death to get to the tree of life and ends up leaving redemption behind with the maker chick (can’t remember her name) who years later gives it to Death. Idk hopefully in the next game they reveal what happened with Strife.

War had also been killed prior to the seal being broken. And he was resurrected as well. So whether a horseman is dead or alive, and the final seal is broken. It doesn't matter. They will serve and fight the war.

But for a fact, Death's sacrifice was done before Darksider 1 ended. After Darksider 1 final boss ends, the seventh seal broke, effectively resurrect both War (died right after the boss fight) and Death.

So Death go to resurect humanity after his brother started Apocalypse mislead by Abbadon. During that War got a second chance and kill Samael and that brings Death to life from the well. If Death wasn't ended Corruption War mistake should not be forgiven. I realy need to see the sequel. When all horsemen got together at the end Uriel said something about a war. And also there was a promise for Darksiders 3.

Shanic 14 he would have normal attacks too and use the action button as an insta-kill on non-bosses in the chaos form. the insta-kill would be a brutal dismemberment and famine would eat the limbs and bady parts still left in his hand after the enemies are torn apart. actually all four horsemen should have in insta-kill type of attack in their super sayan modes.

+SuperGodlike101 i think that famine should have a hammer to tenderize enemies and then you could have the option to eat the enemies corpses to regen health but it takes time and you are open to attack while eating also i think that the insta-kill in caos form you have to decide if you want to damage a bit like 8 enemies or insta-kill 6 of them

Very lame, especially considering the difficulty of other battles in the game. But overall, I enjoyed DS2 just as much as the first game.

+ztrinx1 I thought DS2 was better. The boss battles seemed to get progressively easier. I just binged both games back to back and the first boss battle in DS1 (Tiamat) was such a pain in the ass I nearly quit the game. However both final bosses for DS1 and 2 were beaten on my 2nd try.

See I always thought in the third, the 4 horsemen would Ride throughout time and gather all of mans armies, all the heroes, all the legends, and set forth the might of humanity like a tidal wave hope.

The problem with humanity in Darksiders is simply that they as a race have become so accustomed to peace (yes, there may be war, but no "real" enemy) and thus weakened. Humanitys stength lies in their genius, technology, maybe even magic. Darksiders has lots of magic, humanity could definitely learn and maybe even master it. We are physically inferior but we might still be a threat. The world of Darksiders knows no weapon like a nuclear bomb. Even the Abomination Vault holds no weapon of similar power. I think if they were to face the demons, humanity would rise above it's flaws like we so often hear. "It's in the darkes hour that humanity's nobility and strength truly shines." Also, Humanity is balance. They are between Angels and Demons.They are both good and evil. Since the Council seeks balance, it might not be improbable that the riders fight alongside humanity.

Triszin To be honest, I don't think that current weaponry aside from heavy armor piercing and high explosive stuff could pose a threat to bigger demons. Humanity'd need to improve their armory significantly to keep pace and would suffer heavy losses in the beginning.

Just look at what it takes War and Death to kill even a lesser Demon and compare that to human possibilities. Aside from nuclear warheads we don't really have anything that could kill a demon before it reaches us and as soon as it reaches you you are dead.

not to mention Death saying he has no idea of what to do next, thats not something you see Heroes doing when finishing their saga xD

Id love to see 2 other games with Strife and Fury while war is locked away by the council. And to finish it a 4 man coop game with all 4 horseman after war summons them.

I think while the third game introduces the third horseman and maybe foreshadows the fourth, the fourth game could introduce the final horseman and the 4 co-op. Also, I think making the other game with a story related would stretch the plot too thin. Why not a sequel to the events? or better...a prequel! I think we could use some more explaning on what in the actual heck was happening xD

As someone who played all the games. I can say that strife is a mastermind and somewhat future knowing. He left mercy on earch for War and redemption on forge lands for for Death. So since only death had regrets killing nephilim (I might be wrong) strife would still revive the mankind. I really think that strife is wisest of them all.

+Calvin Caesar DS3 is confirmed and will (according to all credible sources) feature Strife. This is also foreshadowed in DS2 when Death receives Strifes gun from the Makers. I agree that Death is badass, but the point of the 4-game idea was to feature one game for each of the horsemen and tell a compelling story. If they were to make another game with Death, it would most likely come in the form of its own game seperate from the main line of Darksiders games. Did you try the "Deathinitive" edition on steam yet btw?

Just google it, several articles came out this winter talking about it after the founder of Nordic Games basicly said it outright in a forum post that they were working on it. :) They have been interviewed many times after that, and always smile cleverly when the subject comes up, so their involvement is obvious and they arent even trying to hide it :D Its coming!

I have a few idea on what happened. Okay so it called the well of souls right? You see death clutching the souls of the Nethilm so to restore the souls of man death must surrender the souls but they are bound to his body so he must enter the well, and something to do with him being death wouldn't allow the well to keep him there. My next idea has something to do with the mask (at the end he gives it to the crow father) in some way or another death is bound bound to the mask (I 99% positive of that) one theory is that perhaps death is the mask and supplies some sort of power or the responsibility of the horseman to one who wears it and it needs a subject to carry out it's purpose. My last idea and the one that is most likely; the well of souls isn't a place of death but simply acts as a place where the dead go kind of like a prison death was held there until was broke the seal. It is part of the nature of this world for the apocalypse to occur and when it does the well wasn't allowed to keep death in holding or because the seal was broken death's sacrifice couldn't be accepted since life on earth is no more mankind could no longer be restored.
