Convicted Waukesha parade killer Darrell Brooks spoke for almost two hours, often rambling and repeating the same points, before Judge Jennifer Dorow cut him off. Brooks was the last speaker, other than the judge, before he was sentenced to life in prison.

Oh he’s saying more than words can express. He’s publicly gaslighting Erika Patterson. “It always takes two” “I hope you reconcile with your children” The shout out to the baby mamas and the thanking “angel” the mom of his son as if he won an award He hates attorney opper for how she did her job. He’s the victim of course And let’s not forget the reciting of Jesus’s Christ of Nazareths story. And not 1 apology for killing 6 people and injuring 68 others. Soooo he’s the worst person in prison.

He understands it's just another ploy. If the judge answers or gives an explanation of any law, it's an automatic mistrial. She's not allowed to do that which is why, throughout the trial he states "I don't understand". Also, he tried to set up an appeal on the basis of not understanding what was going on.

The maniacal audacity of him to say to the Judge...."regardless, I want to get to a point of happiness again" just shows how utterly callous he really is.

Well done DA Opper. That you made DB so angry that he thought insulting you in his closing statement would upset you. On the contrary it showed that you got under DB’s skin and that got to him. Well done.🇦🇺

This really illustrates the problematic concept that someone can just say sorry to god and think they’ve been forgiven and are off to heaven.

Not really. Everyone else gets to leave and Mr. Brooks gave us all the gift of laughter. I come back to watch this and laugh at this clown. He’s also a great example of why you should take care of your mental health. He’s coherent, but he’s still just a total baboon in a court room.
