I was in disbelief that even after he was found guilty, he is now a convivted mass murderer, removed from court #1 stood in orange, belly chain, handcuffs and I assume shackled to the table, he STILL thinks he has control, he stands there waving his pathetic little 'objection' 🤡 at one point he comes back in and starts arguing with Judge Dorow AGAIN! "I wasn't treated fair" he is truly one of the worst people of this millenia, not just his actions on 11/21/21 but his conduct immediately afterwards, to this day! I love how, after he spent over two hours focusing on him and his issues, she spent over two hours focusing on the victims and the survivors. She focused on their statements and made the final say in the case about them and not him. Keeping him muted was brilliant as that was sure to infuriate him. When she did refer to him, she dismissed him as a person and highlighted his actions. This was hard to listen to, but brilliantly delivered. I didn’t think I could respect Judge Darrow more, but this particular video ends this case on such a high mark. She is a superhero.

The judge was talking about the witness who saw the 8 year old getting ran over by Brooks and he was STILL waving his piece of paper at the camera trying to get back into the courtroom.... I just can't understand why he even wants to be back in the courtroom at that point! I guess he enjoys the attention even when it's negative? But I'm so glad judge Dorow ignored him like a child, because his biggest fear is being locked up and forgotten. What a petulant little man child he is. I really hope he gets violated in every possible way when he gets to prison.

This judge saw right through his feeble attempts to blame mental illness for his crime and called him out on it while telling a personal story about someone she presided over who was truly mentally ill and she describes how heart breaking that case was because this person murdered someone close to them while they were in a psychotic delusion and after they came out of that delusion they were incredibly sad and devastated that they did what they did. This guy doesn't even apologise to the victims he killed and hurt ON PURPOSE - I loved that Judge Dorow called him out on that too. She's an incredible person and brimming with empathy.

Her kindness is a weakness to people like Darell and unfortunately, she allowed him to control her courtroom. This passed on unnecessary pain, anger, and frustration to the victims, which all could have been avoided had she had a little more backbone. Could you imagine having your child murdered in a Christmas parade and then listening to the killer yell "STOP IT!" to the judge with zero consequences? NOWHERE else would this be tolerated. I can't believe he aggressively stared her down too and all she did was state for the record that she was scared and going on break. Come on Judge Dorow... It's completely possible to prevent a mistrial WHILE controlling your courtroom. I like her a lot and have a tremendous amount of respect for her, but I think she was the wrong judge for a narcissist like Darell Brooks. She's too kind and soft.

I’ve been rewatching this case like crazy. I think it’s because of the dynamic between Brooks and Judge Dorow. Brooks is the kind of person that good people hope and pray to never cross paths with or god forbid, have them enter your life in some way. He’s so self righteous, narcissistic, selfish and lacks self awareness to a serious degree. But Judge Dorow read him like the back of her hand. She knew exactly how she needed to work him so that there would be NOTHING he could hold against her in an appeal. She always had the ace in her hand, and he was always the fool. Watching his true colors through a screen is enraging enough. I can’t imagine being the Judge who had to deal with him in real life. So, after binging on the absurdity of Darrell Brooks, this video hits just right. JUSTICE. The Judge was waiting for this moment, and she owned it. She owned him, and she did it for the families who couldn’t do so themselves.

I do agree, but clearly there was a lack of professionalism in the prior judges! Clearly. And sadly, with the example of domestic violence cases, we see so often that justice is not served, if the complaint is even heard or acknowledged at all. That’s what the issue was here early on. Violent or unpredictable offenders are often allowed to go free, or the innocent are painted as the instigators and end up dead, etc. So clearly, there was a lack somewhere early on, yes. But that doesn’t negate the professionalism and complete perfection (in my eyes) Jennifer Dorow has shown in this case. I’m amazed. I’d imagine that she’s also frustrated at the lack of the past; why wasn’t he dealt with earlier… That’s why she initially brings up past findings, mental health specialists, etc. she wanted to explain HOW she came to the sentencing, how we got to this point, even though we all knew what it would be. She was speaking out of frustration due to the past judges and prosecutors as well.

I'd be amazed if he were able to win on appeal. I mean, I get that there exist many technicalities, but judges aren't unable to see things in their context. This guy winning an appeal based on mistakes brought about by his bad faith strategy to delay and disrupt the proceedings would literally cripple our court system with the precedent it would create. Like I understand some people try to defend him somehow by saying his rights were being violated by him being removed or not having standby counsel when he went pro se, but the constitution is not a su*c*de pact and rights don't just exist unfettered by anything. I really would be amazed if this guy managed to win an appeal, and I really hope he doesn't.
