The FA would be crazy not to go for Mourinho if he was available. The man has won it all and won wherever he’s been. You want the “nice guy” who wants to be friends with the players or the guy who’s going to make the tough decisions and get you a trophy

I think Mourinho wouldn’t manage England though. At least if he had a choice between england and portugal. He’s Portuguese and I think would be more likely to want to manage his country. He’s said as well that Portugal is an ambition of his that he wants to tick off the bucket list when the time is right and I do think if it came down to a choice he would of course choose Portugal.

Bents right..the shelf life of Jose is not long but he often is great in the beginning of his tenure at new clubs and that could be used over a 2 yr period for England

The fact that his teams have been responsible for the most goals scored in their league in all countries he’s managed. Won league titles in every country he’s managed in. Serial winner that’s the only man to win every European trophy available.

What is wrong the Southgate, the player's loves him, which probably won't be the same of jose. He's had more success than any other england manager, apart from alf ramsay. I love way he sticks up for the player's and he's loyalty is fantastic. He's sort of created a club feel and a great spirit in the squad. And if jose still got it whys he managing roma. Back him, and stop trying to create friction.

This England rejuvenation was started 20 years ago after the heart breaks of the 90s, we had so much talent but so did other countrys. We have so much talent in mids/ attackers, wingers, fkining hell hw bad we needed a left winger in 90s, giggs could have have played england but his father used to beat his mother who was welsh, he would have been the key component in unlocking defensive

Mourinho's well known as having a short shelf life at clubs ; he's tolerated and effective in small doses. Thats exactly what you get in international football , small doses of him and that combined with his defensive style means he's tailor made for international football. We would definitely win a big one with him in charge.

Southgate is England's Solskjaer. Only reason he has got anywhere is very favourable draws with an amazing squad, players bail him out but when it comes to his decisions he messes up. Poor managers can win big trophies

Not sure Jose plays the right way to get the best out of our players. Although his old Chelsea teams were really physical and scored goals, so maybe. Better than Southgate regardless

Jose is completely unproven at International level. He thrives on intensity and knowing players inside out to get a tune out of them. You don't get the same levels of those things on the international stage.
