Th way they revealed Rick was alive to Daryl and the rest was the biggest L of the finale tbh, it was terribly executed and I can’t believe I waited years for a scene like that

He kind of had to be a father figure to her in some cases, and Daryl has alway been soft when a child is involved.

He was also a meth head when he 1st came on the scene, & being regularly abused by his brother.

Daryl likes having someone to fight for and fight with. It was Merle, but he was too dangerous, erratic, compulsive, he made bad choices that Daryl didnt always agree with. With Rick's group, he had a real community that he could fight with and fight for. Who really loved him. Something Merle couldn't rise up to, he was too selfish.

Daryl retelling the story of the white flower to Carol is my favorite scene in the show. Really the catalyst to making Darryl more than an asshole

Damn I had no clue that was Judith. She was still a baby when I was watching

Daryl’s reaction was how anyone would expect it to be? He barely reacted at all. He was practically in tears when he thought Rick died. It’s been a decade. And now he finds out that he’s alive and doesn’t even question it or react? Come on. They dropped the ball on that. And that’s what a lot of people were waiting on. I was so looking forward to everyone finding out, and it was a fizzle. The rest of the episode was pretty good though.

The entire group that walked into Alexandria were very close/protective. They were like family. If you hurt one of them, the entire group would come for you. Also, remember when they first got to that community, they all slept in the same house. This group was family.

@@inooxBecause Michone found drawings of her that Rick had drawn in case she’d come across an area he’d been staying in, for the purpose of letting her know he’s still alive. If I remember correctly, he also wrote things on pieces of paper he left with the drawings, and since Michone went looking for him, pretty much everybody else knows he survived being impaled and blown up on that bridge all those years ago.

Carl had lost his eye back in Alexandria after the horde got inside the walls, Jessie's oldest son was going to kill Rick but Michonne stabbed him, after he was stabbed he accidentally pulled the trigger aiming the gun in a random direction as he was falling, it shot out Carl's right eye. I'm not gonna say the person above me is wrong because they may be referring to the comics which the show had pretty significant differences from. For example, Daryl doesn't even exist in the comics, but he was the main character in the last 2 seasons.

In the 10th season michonne found ricks boots and drawing he drew of Judith and michonne so she went searching for Rick.

While the boots and drawing was found,Rick was not.I do not remember any scene were Judith was told ,but I may have missed the scene. My take would be that Daryl just figured Judith is talking out of Hope that he will be found.She called Daryl dad,so He most likely would just chalk up anything she said as that of a injured girl wanting her family.Oh ,and as far as Shane being dad .The odds were about 50/50,seeing that Rick showed up at camp like pretty much the next day after she cheated on him.
