I counted eight Mississippi's before he even hit the brakes. He hit the horn before he hit the brakes, like two seconds before. What? Did he think the trucker had a "hyperspace" button or some magical feature? That truck COULDN'T go anywhere.

@@empower.1982 It can alert the other driver- with a semi the only option you have is to swerve, if you can't swerve than prepare for impact if you cannot slow down in time.

The red pickup next to cammer came to a full stop right at the light without much trouble. Cammer passed him to the right instead of slowing with him, though. Even then, had he hit the brakes right when he hit the horn, I think it would have been enough to avoid the crash. And, I wonder what the horn was supposed to accomplish. The semi was going to accelerate or somehow change directions?

Agree. The red car definitely changed back to center lane without signaling, but the cammer sped up to cut him off, rather than braking to avoid an obvious collision hazard. 50-50 at worst, IMO.

So many things could have gone wrong to air bags deploying in correctly killing him, car catching on fire, seat belt propelling him out of the car possibly maiming him, whiplash, broken bones from air bags deploying, the face you now have no car until insurance looks at it along with time missed. All of that is not worth his ego. If he had braked could have just stopped and moved on and say wow that could have been worse.

If he's anywhere near as cautious as me especially as a new driver he had absolutely no time to safely enter the left lane.

He could've checked behind him and slowed a bit to avoid it, shoulder checking and switching lanes. If he sped up that fast to block the other driver he should have no problem switching lanes that quickly. Classic teenage male driver with too much of an ego to think defensively.

that almost happened to me my moms boyfriend was driving and there was this man in a white dodge pick up truck and he crashed into us and my moms bf started yelling and we got scared but then he told us to close out eyes and he put his gun up but luckily he didn’t shoot he was just waving it and luckily my mom is not with him anymore🙏.

You don't know if there was or wasn't cars behind him, so he might not be able to reverse. Honking is very helpful, because it was low speed and honking can give message to trucker and he can easily stop.

police would say it was both their fault. uhaul didnt clear the lane only because the car was damn near next to the rear when the signal came on but mostly the cammer because he swerved aggressively to avoid something that wasn’t necessarily near him yet

There seems to have already been an incident right there. There's a police car, and what looks to be an officer that is already out of the vehicle and directing traffic. This cammer was not paying attention to the road and ran into somebody.

You are right there’s no way he would’ve won that case. There was a case like that on New Zealand motorway patrol. Where he kept saying she stopped suddenly. There had been a car in front of her, that had slowed down and stopped. He got a ticket. If someone deliberately brake checks you that’s different.

I watched so closely and you can see that SUV eventually go back into the other lanes of traffic bc he was dead. But of course it was a stolen vehicle with likely a stolen gun. Ironically I was in a gang shoot out last month in a nice area of town. Their insane ways are just ruining everything at this point. I don’t care if someone has a death wish leave us all the hell out of it.

The Denver District Attorney’s Office provided an update on the case with the public on Tuesday. The shooting was carried out on July 31 at about 11 p.m., claiming the life of 31-year-old Kevin Piaskowski. “Denver Police Officers responded to the area of westbound I-70 and N. Quebec Street on reports of a vehicle accident and shooting, in which the suspect fired shots at another vehicle driven by Piaskowski, crashed the vehicle he was driving, and fled on foot,” part of a news release from the Denver District Attorney’s Office reads. The suspect was identified as 17-year-old Jameel James. James is facing charges that include first-degree murder, motor vehicle theft, violating a probation order for having a firearm and one count of possessing a firearm as a juvenile.

Around 8:00, it's technically the U-Haul's fault but you could have easily avoided that accident. People think that they have the right of way when they use their blinker. Pay attention and be cautious when you see a blinker

I would say it's cammer's fault. You could already see intent to change lanes by the uhaul wandering into the lane (and that should have triggered the cammer's defensive driving mode, that hey, uhaul driver is not a good driver), and then a signal light does come on prior to impact. Now should the uhaul be changning lanes if not safe to do so, no. But cammer just kept on coming and caused thier own damages. Would have been so easy for cammer to let off the gas a bit and let life continue on. Too many people play the "I'm in the right" and let the accident happen. I for one don't want to be in any accident regardless of whose's fault it is.

Yeah I think I need to side with the uhaul sure I would not say he was a good driver but he gave a blinker heads up and was actively changing lanes before the dumb ass tried to intentionally force him back in his original lane. When driving never assume they are lying a out the intent ti turn... also don't assume they will either... have probable avoided two or three crashed at intersections because I assumed they might have just left their blinker on.

I got in a car accident June 23 2023. My mom was driving and I was in the pasenger seat. We had just started to slow down getting into the turn lane to my neighberhood all the sudden a grey car hits us from the back left corner. It sent us spinning to the oppisite side of the rode facing traffic. My mom pulled into the shoulder when she got control of our car and we both looked up and saw that we were face to face with a upcoming eighteen wheeler. My mom relized this and turned into oncoming traffic to doge the truck but failed because we got hit in the same place as the grey car. We ended spinning back where we started in the turn lane. Thank god for no bruses or seatbelt marks or death. The fact that none of our airbags went of. The grey car was at fault and im just happy me and my mom are alive❤

If you can say "you are" when writing the sentence, then it is "you're". If you can't write "you are" and it is regarding ownership or your person, then you write "your". My mom recently got into a terrible crash and it is such a miracle she lived. She was driving home from work and got smashed by a 16 yo when she was waiting at a intersection. The front of the car was rammed and completely destroyed and we still don't know if the car is beyond fixable. She came home with my dad in tears and sat outside for about 45 minutes crying. Don't be an idiot when driving.

The perpetrator was apprehended in October. He is 17-year-old Jameel James. He will be tried as an adult for murder, auto theft, probation violation, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

I was born and raised here in Colorado and having a gun pulled and aimed at you on the highway has unfortunately become a norm for road rage. I’ve had it happen a couple times to me bc I honked at someone who cut me off or bc i was going over the limit by 15mph in the left lane and that wasn’t fast enough for the driver behind me. It’s horrible what people are willing to do on the the road.
