This video talks through the data collection and analysis stages of a dissertation project, suggesting three key areas to be mindful of when carrying out your research.
This 8-part introductory course was created especially for undergraduate students by the Research Data Service at the University of Edinburgh. Candela Sanchez, a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, provides a guide to dissertations along with guidance and tips to help you make the most of your final dissertation project.
The course is structured following the journey you will go through, from thinking of a research question, to conducting a literature search, to managing data (whichever form this takes), to writing up, and dealing with your dissertation data after submission.
