i have to say i used to listen to her about a year and some months ago... and she became pretty famous now.... which (and please don't call me hipster or that shit) to me is a pity cause i literally felt a connection through the privateness of her music.... now everyone listens to Daughter as if listening to nothing... i am not generalising.... its just how i feel, and even tough it may be a wong way to reason.... it's like you ve found a nice place to stay and talk alone with your friends and all of the sudden the whole word has come and its not the same..... i dont mean to offend anybody by this .... i still enjoy Daughter but the first time i listend to her was simply magical

Went to finally see her playing live in San Francisco the very first time yesterday! Had dinner in a sushi bar around the corner before the gig and Elena was sitting right next to me. I'm so stupid I didn't dare to say hello... I didn't want to interrupt her dinner and I was so excited my chopsticks were shaking :) I totally enjoyed her company though haha. And the concert was heavenly!! Much Love

Age is nothing but a trivial matter to music. I know an 8 year old who listens to Florence & The Machine. I'm 15, and I listen to The Strokes, Two Door Cinema Club, Phoenix, Empire of The Sun, Ben Howard etc. Though youths are usually attracted to mainstream music, there are youths who actually listen to beautiful music like this. But still, it nice to know that I'm not the only one who listens to AWESOME music and is still young.
