It is all about a one-on-one relationship with Jesus. I had a horrible and I curled up inside of a blanket to keep from being raped and abused. I prayed and prayed for help. Got away from the abuser. I had to stay in a women's shelter. The entire time I asked God for a good husband. He did it! I met my husband and he and I finished college, traveled to Australia for our Honeymoon, courted in Maui, finished raising our kids, and still dating! Praise God in Heaven because He gave me my husband.

This is my husband and my song to each other. October 13,2011 he underwent massive heart surgery when his aorta exploded. The drs had tools me he wasn't going to make it. Upon getting to see him in ICU the nurse turned on the TV while he was in a coma and said maybe he'd like some music. This video, our video was just starting. It was confirmation from God that my husband would make it. Today makes 4 years and hes still with me.

13 years ago I heard this song on the radio after I went on a date with my now husband. We heard it before, after, or during almost every date we went on. We had my brother-in-law sing it at our wedding in 2011

I love this song. It reminds me of me and my husband. He was in the hospital for 11& 1/2 weeks before going to be with the Lord. That was on April 24th. Why God didn't allow him to stay, I don't know. But I'm trying to get closer to God and be here without my husband. He was wonderful. He really did do as God commands, loving me like Christ loves the church and gave Himself for it.

Kevin Chandler , my friend in 1991 I was on the verge of prison just lost my brother on motorcycle to drinking and driving, both substance abusers. This month on the 11th I've been married to my heart for 27 yrs , I prayed he would send me someone and he did just before it all unravelled. Believe and ask with faith, I believe he will honor you!! She is my glue and my heart, married at 18 both of us 5 children and almost 30 yrs later, he answered me and I didn't deserve it, he will answer you!

Luke, about 7 months ago I would've been right there with you. I persecuted Christians, thought religion was a waste, a fairy tale, so on... This still stands true. I had only ever known and heard this version and the first time I heard Blake's I wasn't remotely impressed. It's not BAD, but it lacks personality, life, and the energy that this one has. His version is kind of flat and dry.

This is mine and my hubbys song. Little did we know when we met that it was truly a divine intervention. My husband was a drug addict and didn't know God. I grew up in a Christian home and have been one since the age of 9. Through my family my husband has come to have a personal relationship with God and is currently in a program called Teen Challenge and when you ask him if he is a recovering addict he will tell you NO!!! "I am a RECOVERED Addict washed in the blood of Jesus Christ"!!!!

Another about a girl in India who's grandmother was deathly ill about to die and through prayer from herself & others in the project & eventually her family she was miraculously healed. Still think god doesn't care about the problems of the world? He does. That compassion experience opened my eyes. I was bawling. God gives you anything you need.

That's not how songwriting works. Blake, or his management team, paid for permission to use this song and all of the moneys (like when a radio pays for permission to play the song) are shared, not evenly, but still shared.
