My first “love” introduced me to this song about a month or two after we met. I immediately fell in love with the song and her too soon after. Although we didn't work out, I come back to this song every time I wanna reminisce on our great times and beautiful memories together. I wish her all the happiness in the world and thank you Dave for this beautiful heart-warming song :) This is what music is all about 🙃

This was my & my husband's First Dance, too! That whole bit about "it's a silent celebration for every breath you breathe" was kind of our inside joke because my asthma got so bad sometimes I'd quit breathing in my sleep lol.

I'm a big fan of Billy Currington, and I like his version, but Dave Barnes' version is the best hands down. Dave's voice is so pure and rich and full-bodied, and the song reflects that.

So beautiful of a song, i have my New love after i have been hurt so bad my new love has sent me a dozen Red Rosaes And has been sending me Dave Barnes songs and the first one he sent me was " GOD GAVE ME YOU " 1 of Dave Barnes songs , but then he sent me this 2nd one from Dave Barnes music his speaks to me through his music with My new love who loves me with everything in him . Thank goodness for new love and new beautiful music that speaks to my heart on a new level with my new love, the one God sent me to be with for once .Dave Barnes music is beautiful and very heart felt to .

@AnAmericanGirl16 and go fig, all these famous artists are doing covers of HIS songs and THEY get popular for it, but hardly anyone looks into the song enough to realize that Dave has the originals. It makes me frustrated to no end. I forever thank my workplace for playing Dave's songs on the speakers instead of the covers.That's how I discovered him.....in fact, this was the first song I ever heard from him. Such a talent.
