I honestly just heard from a buddy that he became a drug addict at one point and believed it for years till like 2014. Crazy what kind of damage these companies can do to someone's reputation. Its no wonder all these celebrities are always on the defensive nowadays or tryna act super aware of shit; they're saving up woke points for when powerful people decide to fuck them.

R.I.P Prince he went through this same thing with Warner Brothers i thinks. He tried to warn us all.
@GoTocco3 жыл бұрын
Prince resigned with Warner and got the best deal anyone ever got to date on that deal. 60 million up from for 10 years, 10 records, plus 1 million a year to run his own label. When you sign they own your name even if you change your name, unless you change it to a symbol which is why he did that. That way he could write and sign anyone he wanted. And the kicker is he had 400 songs already in the can. The work for the next 10 records already done. He waited until the last day of his contract was up and didn’t tell anyone what he was going to do then walked into Warner Bros. and laid out the pitch and they said yes. When they asked him how he wrote so many songs he said, “Easy, one a day.” After that deal Madonna, Michael Jackson, and every major artist wanted to rewrite their deals because Prince changed the game in favor of the artist.
