It's easier to write code than it is to read it. In my experience, people don't like the way other people code, usually. This is likely less of an issue of the Twitter code and more of an issue of dipshits who want to overplay the situation.

I know nothing about coding but I can very much believe you face those problems. Far too many people now think they know more about particular subjects than they actually do, it wasn't such an issue at one point because there was only so much influence or meddling people like that could do but now everyone is an expert on everything and lot of people don't want to admit they are unsure and to trust in people who have studied a particular subject which ends up making things worse and worse. I'm a baker in a small shop so thankfully I don't have these problems but if someone took it over who knows nothing about baking and started telling me to use more of this ingredient or that and wouldn't pay attention when I tried to explain that the bread won't rise properly or the shortcake for the caramel shortcake will just crumble and fall to pieces if I changed it I reckon I'd have to leave and find work elsewhere. It's not a perfect example I know but I'm sure you know what I mean

While, super smart Elon can't do everything. That's the whole point of delegating. He will find a way to make Twitter an essential business. Some analysts were saying very recently that Twitter, Facebook etc were already becoming passe and that a new generation of tech businesses were likely to overtake them. So it's probably very timely for Elon to take Twitter onto its next phase.
