Quite a few people suggest this song! Dave was again quite impressed with the band's performance. Thanks for the great suggestion Forsain 45, Tobbish, Muse Born, Cathy Aldridge and Michael Briefs!

Lol he was confused with the keyboard player. Matt plays guitar and piano. They have an additional musician who plays Keyboard called Morgan Nichols
@ForzaMilan-di2zd3 жыл бұрын
Morgan been with them for most of their Tours. Whereas most bands chop & change with backing musicians. Something about Muse, all the pieces stay together. Best band in the world, especially live

My chemical romance was the opening act of their concert on wembley , matt tried to study classical music but he finds it difficult to read sheet music, so he just tries to listen to piano/classical pieces and transcribe it then he fuses it into a song

Fun fact, Matt has said in interviews this song is the hardest for him to play live because of that complicated piano piece in the middle. Also, I love how Dave's reaction so often is just "Jesus," which...yeah. Sometimes that's all you can say about Matt Bellamy lol.

Dave..... Matt only has two hands ya know. He can't play keyboard and guitar at the same time. Well, maybe he could? Anyway, thanks of the great reaction. Loved it.

Even Muse seem to shy away from this one, maybe just too difficult to play to their standards (let alone anyone else's). I can only imagine the performances that are only in people's memories, but at least this one's in the vault. The entire DVD is jaw-dropping over and over again.

I saw them years ago at Earls court before they became world recognised. They played all of my favourite songs like i was listening to the album. I know people like to hear variation at a concert but the precision was incredible. It was like playing a cd at home but with everything live. It was absolutely phenominal. No, they do not have difficulty playing any of their songs.😄

I was present at this gig. The ending to the piano when the smoke comes out was actually edited. They repeated the last part 3 times for a messy ending to the piano which is what they did at Glastonbury 2004 as well
@cry1pticzer77310 ай бұрын
Don't know if this will be seen, but it was confirmed somewhere that Matt is self taught with piano. He listened to his nan who played the piano herself, and began to play in his own time when he had the chance, using her playing as reference. He's an all rounder, he plays, sings, and writes. Talent manifested.
