Don’t these young fans realise how lucky they are that the members live stream etc and give their free time to the fans? We never got that in the west when I was young and if they carry on with their silliness there is every chance the idols will stop doing this. You are correct Dave, it is natural that JK wants to move away from the childish image he had, after all he is an adult, it is also unlikely that he has time to date at the moment and if he did it would be a private matter. These comments when they say he is dating a man, a woman,a trannie,trainee, armadillo, a squirrel, it just shows the immaturity of the commenter. It is tiresome. I am so glad I do not have to converse with people like this ever. But things change with time and the commenter will continue doing the same, will mature, or maybe another commenter will make up all sorts of stories and the original dating hack will be so embarrassed they will slink off and hide for 15 years. Employers do not tolerate idle gossip and certainly will put a stop to anything derogatory.

JK may have a little more autonomy at this stage of his career, but the company is still in control. What comes out of his mouth is most likely company pushed or company approved, whether it is truth or lies. He owes ARMY no explanation either way. What is dating anyway? What is his definition of dating? Better yet, what's the company's definition of dating? He could still be seeing someone, female or male...it's all semantics and a matter of perspective. We will never know anything definitively without an official announcement.

I am glad to see them with friends outside of the group and having fun. Especially given how worried we were about jk especially after the initially took their break as s group and members started enlisting, we saw he was really grieving that in his lives, and to see him now healthy and happy and enjoying life and engaging with others...it actually makes me emotional. I am glad to see where is now, where they all are. The ones in the army look healthy, at peace and the rest enjoying the rest of their time.

It has been great seeing how each of the members are expressing themselves, perhaps more authentically. They are definitely adults now and their art shows this (bare chest, curse words, etc.). To see them do cutesy expressions now would be cringe as they are no longer boys.

Мы же, когда взрослеем, не начинаем ходить по улице голышом, сообщая всем, что хотим секса и при этом жестами, показывая, как именно хотели бы это осуществить. Кроме того, чем чаще происходит оголение торсов артистов, даже таких совершенных, как у Чонгука, тем больше приедается - хорошего должно быть по-немногу. Как сладкое, если есть постоянно, можно заработать диабет. А сладкий десерт изредка и к месту - то, что нужно для хорошего настроения и поддержания интереса. Эгьё и что-то подобное, конечно, для повзрослевших айдолов уже ни к чему. Спасибо, что прочитали.

I agree. In my opinion, maturity is more about mindset rather than showing it through actions. Nonetheless, everyone define maturity in their own way. And I also think that being shirtless is Jungkook's way of saying that he wants to look cool for army. It's not like it's an everyday thing, it's for working. At least he still cover a little bit of his torso by wearing jacket.

One of the consequences that I notice is when he shows sexy side, some fans become crazy and sometimes expect more from him such as asking him to take off his shirt during live, etc. I'm glad that he set the boundaries. Overall, I trust him when he said he won't change his heart that fast and to keep standing for his value as a singer, and a person. I may not agree with some of his choices but I still support him.

I think that Jungkook would just say he was dating if he was and would talk openly to the fans about it. Ripping off the dating bandaid is possible, and JK has such a good relationship with ARMY that I believe they might initially be upset but would come around to be supportive and protective of his relationships (except the crazies, of course). Youngbae from BigBang didn't hide his relationship with Min Hyo Rin, and in fact brought the fans in on the relationship with cute images and stories of their adventures in Italy when they went for a Fendi promotion. Fans accepted it and supported them. Who could resist seeing their idol so happy? I 100% believe that JK will be open with ARMY when the time comes that there is something to know. Also, ugh, aegyo. 🙄Most idols really hate it-demeaning and kind of creepy.

I'm not a fan of adults doing these child like egyos. Its very odd. I feel for these idols who are pressured into acting childish. I think JK is sick of the same personal questions constantly. Hes really coming forward with how displeased he is. I think hes going to be more bold in addressing dating, sexuality questions and rumours.

We have some very close friends we hug and kiss and get silly together but they are like family not lovers. So we never pay attention to talk about K pop or K Drama actor's and singers, we just figure that the people that cast such aspersion's are jealous and want to ruin them.

JK’s 97 group!!! Best of friends mostly from other idol groups, Astro, Seventeen, Got7, NCT, Etc . Please stop speculating on who he’s dating, if anyone. Best friends are allowed to hang out whether it’s Mingyu or Cha Eun Woo…, members of ‘97 or whether he hangs out with his BTS brothers, just let him enjoy life!

It’s always negative the caption of his blog about JK. Seriously if anyone in this day and age is shocked a man is dating a man, they need to get real. It's not a shock anymore, and it's not as if Kpop doesn't show or even encourage very 'gay' behaviour. Idol's get trapped in childish innocent pure images, and that's fine when they are a certain age, but as they grow up the image stays stuck, it doesn't change so they have to actively 'change' the image. They grow up and it's in the public eye but to the public they are still in that first image, they get trapped in that image and have to break out of that image, often by shocking and being provocative to really get the message across.
