V's weight gain is very intentional. On a live just before enlisting, he stated that he wanted to gain a lot of weight, (which got a bit of a shocked response from RM). Gaining weight is not easy for V, who, as a child, was significantly underweight. When V joined BTS as a trainee, as RM as previously remarked, while the others dieted, V's "job" was to eat, in order to gain weight. V has also previously stated that for his own personal aesthetic, he does not want to be overly muscular. He's doing what he wants, so fans just need to let him enjoy. Obviously, he would not have posted his weight gain if he were not proud of it.

How can people call V lazy. Very easy to see how hard he worked during his album prep, launch and promotions and the volume of content he left for army before he enlisted in the military. He has also been the least ambitious among BTS members, and yet he kept up with all the demands of their work so they can reach and stay ay the top. That puts too much pressure and he likely exerted the most effort, that’s why he got burned out really bad. Besides, V is beautiful, attractive and charming in all shapes and forms. He does not need abs to look gorgeous and be the top endorser for luxury clothing brands, which he achieved without being a gym rat or muscle buff.

Not that I'm an expert on V's private parts but some of the pants he's worn provided a pretty good idea and he has nothing to be ashamed of, on the contrary.

I hate it if Tae feels he needs to have abs or muscle just because of outside pressure. The thing I love about Tae is he is outside of the box, he loves people and accepts them in all shapes, colors, and styles. Before my youger brother went into the military, he weighed about 130 lbs, soaking wet. On his first leave (about a year of military service), he weighed closer to 155, and he'd gained a lot of muscle, even grew a few inches in height. The diet is different in the military, and because you need that energy to perform your military duties, fasting and dieting is not a good idea. Taehyung looks good regardless, but given his position in the military now, he's likely focusing on what will give him the best energy source in order to stay healthy, and working with weights so he can carry the equipment he needs. Also, I recall him mentioning that he was avoiding weights at one time, because he wanted that softer look for the concept he was working on, but he was always proud of the muscle he gained, when he wanted it. As for body shaming, he has nothing to be ashamed of.

I enjoyed V's photos, very beautiful as always, but this is not the first time he played and balanced both of his energies.The photographer usually has a theme to follow. He can be soft and feminine, but also sexy, manly and very masculine. That's why he is easy to work with and such a good model. Why does it sounds like people are concerned he will overweight? Being around 1m78 I think, 72,5kg is still thin. Personally I like a man not too thin, I don't even.mind a bit chubby. The lily Taehyung had was not a Tiger Lily. I suspect it may have been an Orange Pixie or another more petite orange lily with no spots. Tiger lilies (L. lancifolium/L. tigrinum) are native to Korea and much of Asia. They all have speckles, including hybrid versions. I do like the choice of these sweet orange lilies for V's photo shoot, though. They were lovely. And of course, so was he... 💜

All the idols gain weight and buff up during their service, to be able to follow and endure the physical work, harsh training and challenges put ahead of them. Even with 10 kgs more, V is still not meeting the average weight for a male his height and age. And will always be handsome.

I’m glad V is venturing out there. I felt like he’s been stifled somewhat . I saw Jungkook get out there and grow in his bravery. I was kind of waiting for V to do that as well.
