Sir David Attenborough is a legend, Terri Irwin is a legend and so is her late husband Steve Irwin. Sad to think though that it has been nearly 10 years since Steve's passing. RIP Steve, you were my childhood hero!

this man's work in preservation and education has given voice to those without, he is nature's voice. The things I have learned from him, the creatures he has seen and shared with us has changed my world and has led me into whale conservation, his passion has given me my passion and I thank him for it. What he does will help change and save the world, self righteous zealots will not.

I have all the series of episodes on DVD from Sir David Attenborough. His dedication towards both Mother Earth and the BBC are remarkable. The DVD episodes are absolutely beautiful and informative for not just children and animal lovers, but for all!

Dear Mr. Sir David Attenborough: I just like to express my heartfelt admiration and gratitude to you. I have been eagerly watching and enjoying your documentary videos since I was 10 years old. Your god’s giving unique style, body language and knowledge to showcasing various characteristics of animals, species and their roles in the mutual interconnection system is really remarkable. I believe you are one of those chosen to do so. As a Muslim, I strongly believe that ALLAH Almighty is the creator, the keeper of the whole universe and everything else it it. No other associates nor partners with him. Consequently, must be solely worshipped, feared and given all credit ,acknowledgment and gratitude. I know that you aren’t a religious man as you stated in one of your TV interviews, but in my opinion you don’t have to be a religious to give credit to God. Just let nature’s instincts kick. We all going to die sooner or later. As a Muslim, I believe in judgement day as well as the eternal life after death. (Another life). I also believe that we all going to meet God almighty individually and therefore we will be held accountable for our actions. And everyone will get a fair return for good or bad behaviors. In conclusion, I would like you put all our religion and cultural differences aside and think this matter over. What if I was telling you was true? And that you were convinced and embraced Islam, therefor you will be one those lucky survivors in the other eternal life. Now It’s up to you sir. Because I like you very much, I strongly feel obligated to inform you that. I wish you all the best. I will keep watching, enjoying your documentary videos no matter what your response is. Best regards. Youssif Jassim Saudi Arabia

wow, what a find.. 2006, missed this one. I've watched so many videos since then. It's kind of troubling what to make of it, but they are essentially gone now. So much drowned out or inundated by mass appeal.

For a moment, I thought you were being serious. But, if you were, you clearly haven't seen Sir David's body of work. I loved Steve - his death was tragic - but he had another 4 decades of pioneering the recording of wildlife before he could match Attenborough.

Lol! Irwin being compared to Attenborough!?! Steve was great but he wasn't even in the same league as Attenborough. As 'meanvince' said maybe in a few decades he might have been comparable but he was nowhere near.
