David Bingham - 'Self Realization and Consciousness Experience' - interview by Renate McNay
David and Renate explore the relationship between Self Realization and the evolution of consciousness. David has appeared on conscious.tv several times now and has an unusual ability to explain with great clarity the nature of reality.
David is an Artist and had his first experience of the timeless realm when looking at a painting by David Hockney when studying art in Art School. The highest purpose of art is to reveal the Self. He demonstrates how art can lead to Self-Realisation without the need for spiritual beliefs or practices and shows examples of paintings which can activate the experience of silence and stillness in the viewer. He also talks about the acceleration of the Evolution of Consciousness and that Self-Realisation is happening now on a much larger scale. The idea of a dramatic shift is receding and that clear seeing and acceptance of one's ever present Realisation is all that is required.

I'm at the beginning of my journey. I am currently subscribed to GAIA. I can understand a lot more of what David is saying due to watching Mariano De Stephano on Gaia. He covers everything about our vibrations in this universe. Very empowering stuff. I dropped the Netflix subscription for Gaia & there is tonnes of interesting watches on there! 🌈

We are infinite awareness but this awareness has to get strong in order to harmonize and learn how to cooperate with own emotions. We are infinite awareness having infinite emoions, but not strong yet to hold this incredible and beautiful force and use it to experience universe. Infinite does not mean perfect, but it could get perfect and shine like gold, because emotions is gold:)

Yes, that is true. One help is to realize that it is possible for us to change, so long as we try to change ourselves. The change that is easiest is realizing who we already are. Start there and see if reality does begin to shift, and life begins to improve.

However, beliefs must change on a deep level, which usually takes repeated Emotional involvement. It takes some work. Otherwise, all wishes for everyone would suddenly appear and it would be a nightmarish world.

infinite consciousness is not a "doer", its more like a witness who doesnt do but is aware. Its like a sun which shines endlessly without any intention. Its knowingness, awareness. there is no doer anyhow, its the ego/I which takes over the doership.

"Inspiration/Intuition" naturally make sense but that's not really a practical guide. In contrast, self-inquiry IS a practical guide because THAT is the practice of surrender(at least in the manner that was explained by Nisargadatta in "I am That" or Ramana with "Who am I?")

Very interesting idea and perspective, David, but still a story nonetheless, albeit a lofty one. Still there remains a subscriber and chooser at play navigating through a nuanced value system and projection of judgements within a belief system that things at least from a personal level should be or could be better or different for the one who still himself having a life separate and apart from the infinite absolute consciousness.

he is a great poet in this whole topic, I say this with respect. I mean, he easily makes it sound kind of romantic and blissful but ...in this particular world, just the ridiculous and very real amount of suffering is HUGE and I don't see that been addressed with honesty here, sorry. So, "INFINITE LOVE" enjoyes and gets amused experiencing PAIN ? Animal suffering, human suffering, horrendous abuses and cruelty in the world is all just INFINITE LOVE having a good time ?
