I loved this episode and to answer your last question… i think the format worked perfectly for the guest. You don’t get much better than David Blaine and the format worked well with his tricks etc and not having his tricks be a whole segment on their own. I liked the layout too because you guys were closer to the camera so we could see your reactions it was more intimate.

My father was a card magician and I know some of these tricks. I don't want to expose them but I will tell you what you see on cam, because anyone can do that. The first concept to most card tricks is called "the force". You force somebody to pick a card that you already know, or can find out what the card is. If you go to 16:59, you can see David look at the cards that were under and over where Logan just took the card from. It only takes him two seconds while Logan and Mike are distracted, they don't even notice. From that point on, David has complete control over the whole trick. Where David excels at though, is that he has a whole team helping him, manipulating. That is why Dave wanted to be sat on the right side and not the left. Again, I am only explaining what you see on cam.

As an Impaulsive fan since episode 1 i would say this is my favorite episode cause David Blaine took over but not chaotically. True entertainer. And Logan was finally engaged throughout the whole thing compared to moments where he looks bored or zoned out. Also mikes wording and questions were so on point he engaged david blain very well. People questioning the picture trick. Hit pause once the video starts, then hit the minute markers 16:41 and then 18:49 - That’s the pic that was taken. Notice everything is exact, Mike’s hand wasn’t 👍🏻 yet 🤯

People keep thinking Logan and Mike are in on it because of that, it’s much more likely that David took the actual photo before Mike gave the thumbs up and did something like put a filter so the card is revealed in that extra time where he pretended to take the photo

Yeah there’s no way the photo on mikes phone was a real trick, unless David knows somebody who’s so high up at Apple that they’re willing to edit peoples photos through the iCloud for a trick lol

@@steelflexdubstep787Who's wallet was it? Maybe if it was Blaines wallet it was rigged so a card will only show up when a pic is taken of it. Kind of like 3 m material glows with a camera flash.

I’d love to see a David Blaine show! He is amazing and it’s a master magician. It blows my mind the things he does. This is def an art form that takes crazy skill that takes a lifetime to accumulate.
