Absolutely superb series and so accurate. All the acting is brilliant and the camera work is integral as it is with The Royle Family.. The American version is shit, of course. Comedies without canned laughter and stupid music are brave, they have to hang on the quality of the scripts

This scene is just utter genius. From the disregarding picture taking of the guy to how he lets him interrupt him mid song to only put his hand up and start singing again to the final "why you wanna work here? shoot". Perfectissmo

Funny thing is he hired her and told her to hand her notice in at her job even tho he didn't need a secretary. He wouldn't even tell Jennifer she worked there then she got laid off almost immediately.

I conduct a lot of job interviews, so I totally get that feeling where you have to go through the motions of interviewing someone you’d never consider hiring, but I’ve never done it for this reason!

@@jones848 A resume doesn’t tell you much. You can usually tell within the first 2 minutes if the person is a no but you have to finish so the person can’t come and sue you for discrimination or something
