The more I’ve read and learned about Phyllis, the more fascinating she became. She wasn’t just a comic; she was a classical pianist, a designer, a tough businesswoman, and a mother to five children. Amazing life.

This is one of the best interviews I have seen of Miss Diller. The interviewer is excellent and doesn't interrupt her like a lot of them seem to do nowadays.

"A homeless family of seven." Comedy is an amazing source of healing. Phyllis Diller is a powerful force for all girls and women to aspire. Death will never descend on her story of success or her wonderful sense of humour. What an inspiration for all of us. Thanks Phyllis for all the years of smiles and laffter. 1917 - 2012

Kiwi kid who did well 😉 I remember Phyllis Diller for her laughter! but now I'm older I get her humour & see how hard she worked to get to the top of her game. One of The first standout stand up comedians let alone female comedians. A really strong woman, smart & so intuitive! and that's was back then! And yeah props to her surgeon(s) 😄
