Super Cute Baby Animals - Black Swans Cygnets First Time to Water - Is One Sibling Left Behind?

This is the first time these super cute baby black swans cygnets enter the water after hatching. Don the waterfowl warden and I are ushering the black swans into the water as they were being attacked by seagulls.
I have spent most days with these swans since 2019 and they know and trust me but on this day I had to get closer than I normally would to help the cygnets with a chance of survival.
These super cute baby black swans cygnets hatched at the start of October 2019 and this is them entering the water for the first time. One of these cygnets was the late world-famous Lone Ranger.
Dawlish is also known for its black swans, introduced from Western Australia, which live with other exotic waterfowl in a small urban sanctuary on Dawlish Brook. There are several attractions in and around the town, such as beaches, safari mini-golf, a waterfowl centre, a leisure centre with a pool, a countryside park, and the Dawlish Museum.

The cameraman literally forced the swans back into the water even though young swans are not allowed to stay in the water for long. The birds were on the shore for a reason, and the cameraman knows nothing about their needs.

I was amazed with how the other babies helped the one that decided “I’m not having it! I will not have it!!!!” They came back to sit on the rocks nearby & showed you can get in the water & out of the water & in the water & it’s All Okay!!! Beautiful Family

So beautiful. I love how patient the parents were. And how #4 seemed to encourage #5 after taking the plunge. As if it was saying, "come on, it's fine when you get in!"

That's like a family.... father leads the way on the road.... mom following him, but always mindful of the kids.... both parents never losing sight of the babies, yet giving them time to practice self sufficiency..... 😍

The mother or the father could have forced the chick into the water with their beak but they didn't. They expected the chick to overcome it's fear and do it by it self. What a training with lots of love and patience. They pretended to move away so that the chick would be tempted to jump in. These creatures with out the sixth sense teach us so much .

@@tairz2013 why isn't it so. Most human parents are partial to their own kids. They compare one with the other and also their kids with other kids who they think are better then them. Now a days it's become common to manipulate their kids and use them instead of giving them wings to fly and equip them to face this world. Don't you agree. Not all but the number has increased.

I like how they swam away a little bit and looked back like “did he hop in the water yet…” and then swim back like “oh it didn’t work” lol my mum use to do that to me in the grocery store.

?? Nature documentaries (post cold war era) and KZfaq (21st century) had been abundant. Last kid is a star to entertain us with its cuteness, and to show the dedication of swan mom and swan dad. Have you seen them in flight, though I think swans are not as often aerial as geese are? I am sure there are documentaries in which flight can be enjoyed.

не всегда.на ютубе смотрела видео-как мамаша(или папаша?) топили малыша.Видно,самый слабый(которому не место в стае).Долбил(а) по голове клювом.Дитя все равно плыло за стаей,а его долбили по головке.Оно за ними,а его-по головке.Оно опять за ними из последних сил,а его снова по головке-как кувалдой.Пока не утонул.Уже поник головочкой на воду,а он(а)-тварь все долбит и долбит клювищем.Убили.А я плакала.

Yes, and the swan parents were so clever, keeping the little ones near the ramp, so if they got tired they could get out of the water easily, without being frightened. Model parents. Humans could learn from them.

Wonderful vdo, it applies to humans too, the weak child has to be given more encouragement by the parents and siblings with lots of patience, till the weaker child learns and become strong and independent. Even the vediographer was patient to wait and record. I too was v curious, anxious till the last duckling got into the water and swam.

The cygnets are beautiful----it's funny how that one little baby swan is too scared to get in the water, and how one of the big cygnets came to check up on it. That's just too cute.

Look at how these birds patiently wait for all their kids to take the plunge on their own will, encouraging using many comforting gestures but never by using aggression or forcing them in the water. Really amazing quality of these parents which most humans lack.

I’ve never wanted to push a baby into water before this video. Thank you for filming until he got in, it’d have been like a movie cutting out before the final scene and I was already dedicated to seeing that baby get in the water

I awed the patience of the parents and sibling birds..waiting for him to act on his own...not giving up on it....just because they went earlier....they were their just being with him..and cheering him.....encouraging......wish we humans could be that supportive to our kids...who do not perform in accordance with the time set by us

Agree thats the problems with society. We have become so time driven to point that these moments that a so crucial to development are pushed upon our kids that they become obstacles later in life as in anxiety etc.
