We continue our examination of the sacrament of the Eucharist, specifically how we worship the Eucharist. Fr. Mike examines how we, as Catholics, worship Christ's true and real presence in the Eucharist. He emphasizes how incredibly important the worship of Christ in the Eucharist is, specifically in Adoration. Today’s readings are Catechism paragraphs 1378-1383.

Hear me when I say, ye that are Catholic have been deceived and know not God. Ye worship Mary, praying to her; when God tells his to worship none other than him. It is idolatry. Catholicism has its own Bible and teachings, which are blasphemous to the word of God: the Holy Bible. As ye follow the teachings of man and not God; ye hear the pope, but not Jesus, yet ye claim to be his disciples! These are but a few things I named ye dwell within; there are many more. I tell you now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father! Im so blessed that my workplace is 2 minutes away from a Parish with 24/7 Eucharistic Adoration. Its so good to stop by even if for just a moment to thank Jesus for everything and spend but a moment with Him. It truly is a blessing

We have an Adoration Chapel opened 24x7. We have purchased own weekly hour We are committed too but cam go at any other time.

The heart of religion is worship! The heart of worship is sacrifice. The heart of understanding all of this is the unstinting effort Father Mike makes to teach and connect us with knowledge. May Jesus bless Father Mike abundantly for this with super health and even more theological illumination so that God's light may radiate and illuminate through Father Mike even more brilliantly for the glory of God and the salvation of souls! It has been a super hard week, beginning last week. My son Nick is roofing his home. As soon as he ripped all the shingles and the wood on the roof exposed a horrible/powerful thunder storm suddenly showed up. The street flooded 1/2 to my knees! It was a struggle taking my son containers to catch the rain that was flooding his home. Rain water was coming in through the ceiling, walls, all outlets and light fixtures. 😢e we’re so close to finishing it when it began raining again…All night and morning 😮 at 9:18 am the sun came out!!! I cried for joy!!! God is good all the time!!! My son has his fiancée, his 75 year old dad, me 72 and 1 teenage boy, basically. Please pray for us and I WILL pray for all of you ❤

How people long for the eucharist , I started visiting a senior 3 months ago because of a stroke she now is living in an assisted living home. By the time she was settled into her home and all the paper work done it had been at lease 3 months she had gone without receiving communion. I am an extraordinary minister and we have a beautiful way of setting up the table with Jesus along with prayers and reading of the gospel . When it came time to receive the host she began to cry , I will always remember the look in her eyes , when I held up the host I could see the longing she had for Jesus . it was such a beautiful moment and she was so thankful . That look and longing I saw has changed the way I receive communion . Thank you Fr. Mike for all that you do for CIY

The worship due to the Sacrament of the Eucharist, whether during the celebration of the Mass or outside it, is the worship, i.e. the adoration given to God alone. The Church guards with the greatest care Hosts that have been consecrated. The Church encourages the faithful to make frequent visits to adore the Blessed Sacrament reserved in the tabernacle. The Holy Eucharist is the Paschal Banquet in as much as Christ sacramentally makes present His Passover and gives us His Body and Blood, offered as food and drink, uniting us to Himself and to one another in his sacrifice.

I go to Mass every morning. I go early to spend sometime with Jesus in the tabernacle. I take a lot of ridicule from my family because of this. 😢 I am so longing for my family to come back to the church.

Father Mike, this section in the Eucharist is phenomenal. I love it. I feel closer to our God. I love my time of adoration. A time to close out the world for an hour. My time to talk to God. My time to pray to God. My time to LISTEN to God. I am so proud who have the true presence of God in the Eucharist and not a symbol.

I've been blessed with having shared the Bible reading for a 3rd time and joined with others for catechism too, via WhatsApp... they just received few words from me day by day just like you... it's wonderful how God assists me with it... I think it's spreading somehow to their circle of people... thanks for this work through the Holy Spirit... and I'm praying for you too...

Day 189..! Worship of the Eucharist. I feel as if I’ve been here before. I may have listened, but not commented. Just wanted to note that, in working at the Parish Office, I have access to Adoration each day from noon to 3 pm, daily (M-F)..! I think I may not have been disposed at that time to comment..! I am so Blessed. ✝️ I must access that blessing more often, instead of putting ‘work’ first..! 😔😔😔 I have access to the TRUE PRESENCE..! WHAT A BLESSING..! Father Mike, I don't know if you read the comments. I suppose it would be hard to do that. You are a humble person. Three things in particular you have shared that I will never forget. But today, you showed your humbleness by saying" I downplayed ....." So, I lied, 4 things that come to mind .... "God will never ask you to do anything harder than Mary did" The Story of the Groom who said " I never heard the words " and now today " I look at the Good God, and the Good God looks at me". These statements, drive home your lessons for me personally. The way you are teaching the catechism to the community here on you tube and by your example is humbling. Thank you. #4 - Re learning and Revisiting the Catechism as an adult is bringing me closer to our God. Not just saying this, but living it.

I do a Holy Hour 2-3 times per week and in those hours I experience divine peace. Sometimes Jesus speaks to my heart. Many times I speak to His. Sometimes we’re both silent. Every time I leave changed. The 30% or so of the Catholics who still believe in the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist are the remnant who keep the faith of the Apostles and the early Church. Catholicism is accused of being about rules and yet Protestantism is more legalistic with it's either/or views. Scripture itself is filled with both and, not just either/or. Jesus died and resurrected. He is both fully God and fully man. Mary is the mother of Jesus and mother of God because Jesus is also divine. We are to walk by faith, not by sight. Where's the faith? It seems that we are more comfortable worshiping a God made in our image instead of the other way around. Paraphrasing Mother Angelica, sometimes we have to do the ridiculous, so God can do the miraculous.

I'm going to try to make a local list of the times of Adoration in all the Parishes in our Duluth Diocese and share them on my social media as a reminder of the opportunities we can spend with Our Lord. I am guilty of not visiting Him in Adoration, getting "busy" with running errands vs taking a moment to spend precious time with Our Lord.

When I ponder the Eucharist I remember the stories of Christ returning to the apostles after the resurrection. There is something different about him that they do not immediately recognize him and yet it is him, body and blood.

I’ve not heard Tantum Ergo sung in English. ❤️🎶🎵 🎶❤️ The Pange Lingua is one of my favorite hymns. On Maundy Thursday we sing it in Latin as we process to a separate chapel for Eucharistic exposition & adoration before reposing the Eucharist at midnight. On Good Friday I can feel the absence of the Lord in the Church.

It seems significant that we HEAR the Word of God, which was preached from the beginning. And our sense of hearing is the last to leave the comatose or dying person. Seems to underscore the importance of oral Divine Tradition. God allows us to hear the words of the priest as long as possible, as long as we linger in this world.

That shall be believed_ _What God's son has told me, take for truth I do_ _Truth himself speaks truly or there's nothing true_ In this Sacrament is the true Body and Blood of Christ and it cannot be comprehended by the senses. i can't tell that it's Jesus by my sight, by my taste or by my touch. *But I can tell it's him by my sense of hearing because Jesus truly did say This is my Body and Blood given for you* Because of this we trust in God who is Truth and cannot lie

Father Mike, You said we all go to purgatory and I am deeply troubled now. Knowing that I was going to heaven to see Jesus was about the only thing in this life that I look forward to. And I have so many family members that passed away that always gave me comfort to know they were in heaven with Jesus. I am so sad 😭🙏❤️ Joy

No human knows for sure where a soul goes after death. Fr. Mike just wants to make sure that everyone prays for their love ones in case they are in Purgatory and need our prayers. If they are in heaven the prayers are not wasted but passed on to another soul in purgatory. It is better to be safe than to be sorry.❤🙏
