Jakes optimism is why these games are so enjoyable to watch. A totally different feel that I think is really good for casual viewers that aren't as competitive.

@52:30 I agree completely, this was me this season (it's my first season, I set the bar low and just wanted to get to Ultra rank) unfortunately it's a dice roll on if your team is going to pull together and solo q players more often just go do their own thing. Never got to Ultra rank, was 1 match away but didnt have the time before work, and it's never a guarantee in solo that you can win that last needed match to rank up. Still fun to play

Maybe it's just me but I really appreciate getting to watch these games with horrible teammates. Because those are the only games I ever get. I've never seen solo q games where my team comes to help with objectives or lets the guy with 40 overdunk instead of breaking with 11. Getting to see the actual struggle is way more relatable.

Watching this after getting into unite and finding there being a lot of frustrations solo queueing that I am noticing and aware of people doing really helps. This just tells me play center or play an all rounder. It's really hard not to be apart of the problem and not play for team comp though.

As a Sylveon Main:tm: Mystical Fire + DK feels much better for carrying because you're so mobile you can make plays all over the map and take jungle from the enemy fairly quickly. It's really bad at clearing the birds though since you don't have any AoE abilities.

I am a big fan of Drill Peck Dodrio. It seems like the more challenging skill set to pull off, but I enjoy the CC you get from Drill Peck when the passive is up.

I haven't played in about a week and a half. And this video has me ready to hang it up for another week and a half. Lol. These are literally all my games, filled with fast balling. I have to go absolutely bonkers on Gengar to even keep games close. I do need to adopt your mindset. I just get so tilted when I play 3 games and it's the 12 worst teammates imaginable back to back to back.

Aaaand let this moment at 40:52 be a lesson to the viewers that Wild Charge is a garbage move haha Jake sets it on the rayquaza and would’ve secured it except that as soon as the Azumarill comes into range the wild charge targets them… leaving rayquaza very stealable for enemy greninja. There is absolutely zero control over this move. Volt switch/discharge is the only way to go on this mon.

I don't think you realize how good you are with dodrio. You just get it.

First few games were exactly what it was like when I was in expert and veteran. So infuriating because you can be doing great, but the teammates just *constantly* let you down. This is why I hate solo, gotta have at least one friend to play because 2 good people on a team can carry if the enemy team is simply alright

I found this season to just be not that fun to play. I had a lot of other stuff going on and didn’t have time to play in general. Haven’t ever made it to 1600 but usually make it to masters or at least high ultra. This season I felt like I kept getting teammates who literally had no game sense and found myself losing almost any game I wasn’t playing with friends. I really like grinding solo queue tho and it just felt really difficult and I found myself just getting genuinely frustrated getting paired with people in expert and going against people who have 1600 stickers. Idk. More power to you Jake! This has been a fun series to watch. Hope it’ll be back for next season!

I quit this game because of so many afks, pinging players, and spamming "Thank you." I am so disgusted how game is working right now, and I am even too suspicious if the game made this matching system like this intentionally, so people can play more rank to raise their score harder. Could you please make a video about it. I appreciate your videos all the time, and I cannot forget the moment that I lost my score 100 points to get into 1600 when I was almost there in the last 2 weeks.

Man, I wish I was calm as you are, but the matchmaking in this game has been really weird lately, many AFK's, and the number of players with no clue how to play the game is too much or me to handle. I don't have much time to play, and the two or three games I can play in a day haven't been fun.

I just wish all the players in the game would watch this series. People need to learn how to play. I think some people just think this game is like Pokken or Smash which it is not.
