Viterbo conquered! ⚔
In this stage we start from the perched Montefiascone to arrive in the delightful medieval city of Viterbo, full of fascinating views 🏰 that catapult us into the past.
But the route to get there was no less beautiful: we walked on a well-preserved Roman paving, and then along immense green meadows dotted with red poppies!
❓ Fun fact: we believe we are the first to document walking the Via Francigena in Italy using minimalist barefoot shoes (with thin sole and wide forefoot) - to have a more deep contact with the ground 🌍
