Aw thanks Daniel! I didn't expect to have art take the center stage but I seemed to have fallen in love with painting. Thanks for all your support and for being patient with me! I had put youtube on hold but I'm making a comeback haha!

When I sit on my toilet I have a large copy of Van Gough's bedroom. I look at it and think "he couldn't paint for twopence". So why do I have this on my bathroom wall, why do I like it? Why do I love it. It obviously hits some part of me that I identify with. What I am saying is you are obviously well educated, you obviously can talk the talk, you CAN paint. I am 73 years old and I have never been as clever or talented as you are. I really wish you all the best and hope you are a name that people will remember. Paint from your heart xxx

Thanks for sharing Janice. I really appreciate your thoughtful words. Painting is intuitive and deeply personal. It's whatever you make of it. Even if it's just paint on canvas, the meaning we attribute it with is enough to inspire, move us, challenge us or change us. Have fun and paint, paint, paint!

This vlog was so relatable! I'm the same way with books, they seem to have a greater impact when all aspects of the book are tangible. I keep all of them in my studio because my husband finds how I treat them to be almost sinful 😂 If you go though a lot of Microns you may want to check out rOtring pens, they are refillable fineliner pens. I used to buy Microns in bulk because they dry up so quickly, but now I only have to get refill bottles! Also, as a fellow New Yorker you picked a rough city to move to, Rochester is known for it's winters.

I normal don’t watch videos like this tbh, but “Artist life video” just popped into my head. So I found this great video. I don’t like to use the words “I’m an artist” but if you look at what I’ve done my whole life, I guess actions speak louder than words, and yes I’m also an artist too. I guess I just wanted to see what other artist bro’s are doing. Also it’s early morning a, and this was a perfect video to start my day. Since the video starts in the morning. Just wanted to say, great video! I felt like I was your friend, right there in your studio with you. Such a warm welcoming vibe. Thanks for sharing art bro!

I absolutely love you for making this video. I really felt like I needed a firework shot at me to get going today. So glad I clicked on your real and honest video. The way you started the day needing to get yourself going too then when you’d made art you were buzzing about , you were over the moon😃. I like how you were real enough to show the one you had started and were leaving. You really helped me today and will be looking for more of your vids now this one is finished. Realy cute that you showed the end of the day chilling with your lady and ticking of your list (familiar to me! ) thank heavens for our supportive spouses aye✊. That piece you were working on looks amazing as it is and I’m bewildered at how it wasn’t even finished. 🙌👏😃🌈🌸✌️✨

Love this video style and seeing how you structure your day around creating - for me it’s like a constant tug and pull with my productivity system and figuring out what’s best for me. Totally related to the time spent “moping around” on those unproductive days 😂😂 keep it up and love the added gifs 👌🏼

I thank you for being the voice I enjoy to paint along with. You have a soothing voice I’ll give you that. Anywho, I’m watching in my tv account and you said you moved )10 months ago) from Gorgeous Amazing Stunning Cali to move here to the East Coast to NY to be my neighbor!!?? That is so awesome but I wonder if you are back in Cali after this year of insanity. I’m not on up to date videos.

I'm glad you liked the vide Tess! I did enjoy the gold finch but there were 200 pages in the middle that I probably could have skipped over. It probably added to the drama later on but I almost put it down and didn't come back. It picks up at the end and makes a full circle loop. Donna Tart is a beautiful writer, very wordy but beautifully detailed!
