Our Life In "Holland" - The Bingham Family

Landon goes to Intensive Physical Therapy for 3 weeks at a time, 5 days a week for 4 hours a day. He gets up early for school, heads straight to PT, home for dinner and it's almost time for bed. It takes a lot of determination, perseverance and an amazing attitude for him to do it. He is one strong little boy.
Today Mom and Ava got to stay for all 4 hours which was such a treat! Mom usually has to head 40 minutes in the other direction to get the other kids from school and off to their after school activities before heading back down to pickup Landon but today she got to stay and cheer him on through every moment. We decided to take you along with us so you can see a day in the life of Landon! Buckle up, he's pretty amazing!

I have Spastic CP, I’ve done multiple surgeries to help loosen my tendons, as I got older, my doctor said that surgery wasn’t going to help anymore so we found a new solution that involves needles, which isn’t the best feeling in the world but it actually helps. My doctor said because I am an adult now, this would be the next best solution. From reading about Landon on your website, I know the feeling of falling but always getting back up because I knew it was a part of my life. Hearing about Landon’s journey with CP is a true inspiration. Keep up the good work Landon!

This video was so interesting, Seeing all the different therapies that he is doing. I was in tears for a lot of them, just seeing the happiness and joy on Landon's face!!!! He is so determined and motivated, a lot more than most people!! He is a true champion!!! He is truly blessed!

CP will never hold him back! I can see him being an OT when he gets older and helping kids just like him. My cousin has CP and growing up she was so determined just like Lando.

There is no disability, only ability, and Landon proves that. He is so determined and loves to push it. What a great ethic to have. I also think all the teachers will say the boys are all kind, caring and will help others.

Love the excitement on his face during the PT My daughter had to do only one year so far of PT for a hip displacement problem.. she has issues every time we go through a growth spurt.. she is four and this happened at age 1.5 fell in driveway dislocated her hip .. one of the hardest things I went through was seeing her in so many pain.. she has to wear compression shorts to help keep her hips in.. keep up the great work buddy ur amazing

Landon is such an inspiration with his will power, and sense of life. Ive decided I am attending college next year to become a pediatric PT because of him! I would love to help out kiddos like him to improve their quality of life!😊❤️

Wow! Landon is truly something! What he goes thru is simply amazing! I can't run long on those treadmills, but he was pushing it further. He's got a success attitude - and he's as cute as a bugs ear!

This video was amazing to see all the different types of exercises and things he dose for therapy, he’s such a trooper doing therapy for 4 hours. I loved seeing all the pictures on the wall of Landon and how he’s grown up, Landon I such a inspiration to me and all the others who watch the vlog and how I need to keep going, Landon is a amazing kid and such a light and ray of sunshine to us all. I love his smile and laugh he makes me laugh when I watch the vlogs. You guys are amazing family thanks for sharing your journey with me.

It’s no wonder Landon ran so well in the Now We Can race. Watching him on the treadmill reminded me of that running vlog where the family came out to support & cheer him on. Landon truly is an inspiration & always seems to be smiling. He definitely makes “Holland” a beautiful place.

Enjoyed watching this! I never gave up, I was the first ones to graduate from the Physical Therapy program when I was a little girl. He sounds like me I usually remember people's birthdays, phone numbers, addresses, etc. If someone loses something I am usually able to find it, have always been this way since I was little.

Landon is a BEAST at his 4 hour Therapy session! Some of those therapy's looked fun, like the one called "spider" because of the "jumping Jimmie" appliance! The treadmill and stretching of the hamstrings I would hate and Landon seems to LOVE HIS WORKOUT and Therapist...trying to push the limits with her! I was laughing when she said that is enough speed, and he got his hands back on the control to speed it up some more! You ROCK LANDON! Ava was so adorable in her Fur coat and outfit!

I have a nephew who is 24 years old now and he has cerebral palsy as well...when he was a baby my mom took him in and took care of him up until he was 11 or 12 and then he went to live with his mother (my sister) my mother make sure he went to physical therapy but my sister didn't keep him going to therapy and I really wish she had because he could be walking right now instead of being in a wheelchair but he is the sweetest person ever and I love him and we are really close...I have a KZfaq channel as well and I'm looking to put him one of my vlogs one day but you guys are awesome for putting Landon in physical therapy and stay consistent with it. Love your family!❤❤❤❤

Wow, therapy has come a long way since William was that age. Good news after waiting 4 years, William is finally getting some more speech therapy. Waiting list s are so long in Canada and the older they get the harder it is. Way to go Landon!💖
