When you see the all black eyes it's often because they haven't added the eye texture to the model they are animating. The Blue skin is iconic for the Shadow scale so it will certainly be in the game for 1.0

The Elder is going to be beefy! From the body plan it's clear the Broody has much more focus on smell more then sight, likely to find hidden hatchlings and the plants they like to eat.

No word on that yet. Still plenty of time to add it if they do.

The map for 1.0 has taken longer to work on due to UE5 and it's issues leading up to UE5.2. this has meant that the Nurse dragon will be ready to add to the game by the time 1.0 is out.

Even on my older PC I am running UE5 fine, It seems like if you can run something like Ark and have it look good then you should be able to handle DoD. They have already done a lot of optimization abd looking at the diffrences between the settings the game still looks amazing on just avarage settings (Epic don't actually recomend 'Epic' settings for their games, its for future PC's) Thats also not taking into account all of the Player run servers

The Game costs $20, There is normally a sale in December if you want to wait to get it cheaper

There is a single player campaign planned to come to console.

There are plans for a single player campaign for Consoles.

@@Lusewing Im really hopeful for a multiplayer at some point. There isnt a whole lot available like this for console unfortunately. But a campaign would be awesome to! I love seeing how far DOD has come.

@@soap4797 Unfortunately the game relays heavy on the Steam server system for multiplayer so it would have to do extremely well on PC for the Devs to be able to afford the change to console.

The game is releasing February 17th. There is a Dev livestream showcasing what is coming on the 22nd covering the 1.0 release. They unfortunately had to push back the date after the lead Dev fell off his horse and punctured his lung.
