They are really working hard to listen to feedback and find ways to improve the game, something i an very happy to see

Just wait till the 10th (this saturday) there is going to be a massive livestream over on the official BeAwesome channel

Just sharing the info the Devs are giving, though it's certainly helpful binding able to condense it down to bite sized chunks.

It will be a bloodbath either way...or whatever the elementals have instead of blood

We still have a long way to go but the Devs are able to show off more and more of their work now

It really depends what you are looking for. The game at the moment is a lot of 'make your own fun'. If you can head into a survival game and just enjoy living, either with the threat of other players (PvP) or in social groups chatting away and dropping babies (PvE - and the baby dropping is a good thing, I promise) Then jumping into the game now offers all of that. 1.0 However will boost the playable dragons from 3 to 6, offer a lot more mechanics and polish and more of a threat to PvE. If you don't mind waiting a few months, then wait for 1.0, see how it plays out and then decide if you want to pick up the game, BUT if you think you are going to pick up the game anyway because you are liking how the development is going and the potential, then there is a little bonus of having a light elemental skin for all those that buy it before 1.0 comes out. The Devs have no plans on upping the price, adding any sort of pay to win and even the DLC dragons can be played without buying the DLC - you just have to get nested in, and since nested dragons are stronger you pretty much always want to be nested anyways.

It will be really fun! Its great seeing the Devs looking at diffrent ways people can enjoy the game with a few toggles

1.0 is currently expected between July and December this year, though likely between those dates. It will bring with it the Inferno ravanger, Biolumin and Blitz striker

Work is starting back up with the Mega map not that they can load it. They are currently using a preview build of 5.2. Once the full 5.2 build goes live they are likely going to hire the Map artists needed

Oh completly! All of the Kickstarter dragons will be unlockable in game (kickstarters just have them automaticly unlocked) Only the exclusive teir Biolumer dragon is not unlockable but you can still be nested in as it - in fact you can be nested in as all of the dragons (except the Hybrid) even if you haven't unlocked them or bought any DLC. Nesting is a big part of the game as it provides the best stats and the most customization options. There are even whole Discords set up to spread the Bio dragon all around the small private servers.

With 1.0 which will be some time this year, along with a new map, new AI, two other new dragons and loads more features and improvements.

Most of the dragon species are unlocked through gameplay, only 6 out of the 20 currently planned dragons can't be unlocked in game without some sort of DLC. No word on when single player is coming yet but it will have all dragons unlocked for you including the Kickstarter Biolumin and the DLC's. The Devs are looking at letting players host a few friends with them but it will really depend on if PCs are up to the task of both hosting and playing on UE5.

There are only 15 Devs, and most of them are modellers and animators who are currently working on the dragons/AI as well as creating custom assets for the map. The environmental artist will likely be a new hire who specialises in this field, if not two.

@@Lusewing I get your point but they should maybe focus on hiring people who could work on the megamap, because thats one of the major things that could change the game itself

@@DanicaEkimianlove They will be hiring one or two to work on the mega map once 5.2 is fully out. No point starting a contract before they can start work. Finding someone willing to work on such a large project is easier said then done. Maps are not usually this large, particually for an inde game, and particually to work on UE5 which has not been out long.

The legacy version of the game will still remain available

Don't worry, the Biolumin is still nestable and there are whole Discords set up and organised to spread the Biolumins to every server and player.

Not at the moment. The Devs have talked about bringing a single player story driven version of the game to console but that will be a few years. The game is still in development with a very small Dev team and working on console versions at the same time would be a very big effort.

They actually already have a water drake in the works and is expecting it to be added for the 1.4 update. It will be based on more Eastern style dragons

Shrooms will likely stay in the game but their role won't be tied to Eldering

Currently 3 dragons and two AI. With 1.0 there will be a total of 6 dragons, 1 Elemental (player controled) and 5 AI for 2.0 the list will be 19 dragons, 3 elementals (plus a boss elemental you can create) and at least 10 AI, with likely more as they have started bulking out the diversaty. Most of the dragons have already been modeled (and players have been able to see the models)

Not sure what you mean. There will be clouds you can fly through and even above.
