Rishikesh, most of the time you can get more profit from a bigger move, however, keeping the full size is very hard mentally. I prefer to put the risk behind, some money in the pocket, and let the trade run. It improves my income and my risk/reward ratio.

CFDs have several advantages: Unlimited liquidity (therefore: no slippage) no shorting restrictions (including IPOs), no PDT rule, fast execution, 20:1 margin, should I continue?... It's a great platform for all non-US residents, however, not regulated in the US, therefore will not accept US residents. It is a TEFS rule, has nothing to do with the platform. You need a Colmex account to have more.

meir, i'm confused by your rationale for increasing your risk during times of high volatility. higher volatility inherently implies greater uncertainty in terms of direction. these are times where it seems sensible to reduce position size, not increase them. i feel like we could've easily seen sudden reversals, turning green trades into red trades. such was the case on friday, which i'm sure many people were expecting continuation, but they probably got burned by the whipsaw. Can you explain this a little more?

Alan, the combination of high volatility and expected direction, in this case due to increased fear, calls for a change in my trading system: larger stops and targets. Yes, it means more risk, however, the reward is bigger and the success rate is higher. It isn't easy for novice traders to change their systems, but experienced traders should do well. I should do a video about this.

Meir have losing days a lot like every other trader, the videos are all here or better yet, watch him live on KZfaq. I watched him make these trades, these markets don't happen everyday. @@HUGODANIEL07 point is , dont idolize him too much coz hes full of BS, 160k is like 2% out of 5M, wich for a usual day it wouldnt be bad, but these days (after Coronavirus) there is so much volatility, and the direction of the market is pretty clear that 2% profit isnt much, (this friday i did 10% profit). not to speak about thge other days wich he makes like roughly 1%...

In normal times I don't make on average 1% a day. If you can make 1% or more and be consistent about it - you are a much better and I am and that's great for you. In my opinion, if a trader makes 100% a year (less than 0.5% a day) it is a great result.
