Skin Pouches, picked up from cannibals and in their huts, you can open them and there's random items inside. You can find the skin pouches in your inventory, next to the bird feathers.

Your GPS has the time in it. Also you can have him fish for you. You should watch hime do it. You will get a laugh out of it. Plus you have energy drink to to help with you being tired.

for water collection put 4 sticks in a square configuration and put the tarp on them

The strength icon isn't your weight, there is no weight limit. It is your actual strength. Each time you fill the bar, your health increases slightly. I'm loving playing this game. Keep up the great work! ☺️

You can get better thing by following the purple GPS markers and the green markers too. And if you spot humanoid looking girl that has 3 legs, that's Virginia and his a helpful npc just like Kelvin and she protects you from the cannibals. That's all I know and love your videos ❤.

I hear the pistol is in the orange raft off the beach. And you gotta be nice to Virginia when you see her, approach without a weapon in hand, don't be aggressive etc. She's shy but once she starts warming up to you she'll start doing things like bringing you stuff and whatnot. Also I think "G" is the button to unequip whatever is in your hand.

takes like 5 or 6 encounters with her to warm up to you, the pistol is in the raft... when i went to get it there were two sharks breeching the water as i approached...

Holding E on the food consumes them tapping e stores them you can store cooked meats. You need to have the supplies for Calvin if he is building for you. Best bet for him is to gather a lot of logs then ask him to build. If you find purple items on your gps you can get a tracker you can put on your home base so it shows on your map.

Pressing E instead of holding it prevents you from eating your barbecue dinner directly. ;) What I mean: Hold E (consume) vs press E (collect)

That circle with the moon on it is the amount of sleep you have. You need it as well as the food and water to regain energy. Kevin is very good at fishing for you. Tell him to bring fish and he can fill your drying rack and feed you in no time. When Kev sits down it is because he needs to rest. He will also run off to eat and drink. Start thinking about moving inland. From what I've seen after a bit cannibals start sending patrols along the beaches and waterways, and attack builds they find there.

I just found out how to get Virginia. Next time she comes around keep watching her and she'll run off and come back and after a while she'll start dancing for you and everything else. After a while of doing this she will bring you gifts like aloe and rabbits and things like that then you know you have her on your side. Then you can interact with her like you do Klevin. You can change her outfit you can give her a pistol and a shotgun and from far as I can tell as long as the weapons are loaded when you give them to her she does not run out of ammo and she will kill any cannibal that gets near you and threatens you

Not sure if this has been covered yet, your rest level is depleted due to the lack of food and water, when you build your stats up you will recover a bit more fatigue and won't be on the verge of passing out

@allycat871 from what I've seen if you keep your stats up before resting then top up food and water in the morning your fatigue is full after sleeping, doing lots of running chopping fighting drains your fatigue quicker than just walking and exploring, you also lose fatigue quicker in the winter or in cold areas

Great start! I half way built that same shelter you have but decided to destroy it before completion and when I started to dissemble it, I got an infinite supply of 3/4 logs and floor boards.

Don't investigate the cave near your base yet. There is cannibals inside the dark cave. You need better weapons to go in. At least make bows and enough arrows to go in. And enough torchlight. It's very dark inside.

You can craft the birdhouse like in the forest for feathers by the way. Also, you need to pick up the log that looks like it's pointing downward slightly on your floor, and place the log coming from the other way to get it to line up.

I think you built the basic shelter (tarp & 2 sticks) before the tutorial told you to build it that is why you always need sleep. Destroy with axe the already built shelter & construct the shelter again then sleep. It may work.

Also if you haven't figured out, you can set kelvin different tasks in different areas, you can have him finish buildings, and also have him out gathering sticks etc to fill the racks for them

If you go back to the stream you drink from, under the big rock there are two skeletons and next to them on the river banks is rope and cloth.

In The forest when you remove the stump it does not regrow. So probably you can cut the stump.

There are oysters near the rocks on the beach you can eat them they don't help much with hunger but they can fill your hunger bar a bit

There's a life raft off the coast (which you can swim to) which has a gun. I think you found bullets in the last episode. You might have to go around the coast a little bit.

You know, if I was building a base camp I'd put it next to a water source and I would come after you with a boat motor, too, if you just wandered into my camp and started stealing things, lol. They need to give a player a better indication the food is done I would say.

The time shows on your gps, and to equip kalvin with the gun follow the beach to the right until you see the red inflatable this is where the gun is, and then when you click give item you have to switch inventory by clicking left mouse button. Love the vids gameedg.

You don't have to feed him, but he does need time to rest and do his thing. The issue GE ran into is that the rest does not count when Kelvin is doing it on his own. It only counts when you tell him to take a break.

walk along the coast you will see a yellow lifebuoy on it that may have guns and some necessary items, but it will be a bit dangerous because you can face sharks ,, dude
