Actually wild, I personally consider myself pretty thorough but so far in each part (including this one) Day9 has found something which I somehow missed but then misses things that to me are the most obvious things in existence lmao. Never change Day9 and I'm happy to see how much fun you're having!!

To get enough endurance to carry all that armor. Initially at least. Now he probably just forgot.

To be fair, his shield is up so often and blocks so much damage that the soreseal's downside is mostly alleviated (idk the specific numbers so I could be wrong)

I actually disagree with the comments that the greatshield is boring. Sure, its different, slower, more methodical, but i much rather watch someone carefully stamina manage and learn to defeat things in a way that they enjoy than say, the 25th Int deathbeam ive seen or just another dex katana build. Dodging isnt the only way to play, let the man do his thing 😂

In a game where the risk of death is a primary theme, essentially removing it through his play style makes for a boring experience. Like watching GoT but no one dies.

@@PineapplePizzaBiS He certainly has not removed the risk, as he is still dying in the game. Both yours and OPs statements are neither objectively true or untrue. People can enjoy\dislike both play styles. Clearly people are enjoying this playthrough, as am I, so it must simply not be for you and that's ok.

@@jamshands In this forum we all speak anecdotally without citation, so it's fair to say it's my opinion more than speaking for the whole. I won't fault the build for his skill though, his mistakes and learning process make the content what it is.

He is Korean aligned. The guy was a SC pro and has been following the scene for 20 years. SC being the game where anyone that is not Korean is referred to as a "foreigner". And he has a brother in Korea. And he watches Korean dramas.

Its so cute listening the Sean describe all the awesome travel and exploration and map decisions in this game and how much he loves them....100 percent of which were lightly adapted from Breath of the Wild, which he never played.

Meh, rolling admittedly requires more skill and is a lot more efficient if you're really good at it, but I don't find it necessarily more entertaining

I love day9 but his build takes some epicness away from the fights

Day9 went for a modestly strong build and the nerfs missed him. A lot of people had very niche builds and the nerfs bricked their primary weapons. This build was as anticlimactic in the base game as it is now 😂😂😂
