www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01A99... This is the one I ordered. The picture in incorrect. The model number is equal to the one on Daylight’s website. Amazon is MUCH cheaper.

Thank you! This helped me understand how to use the accessory bar for a light more than any other video.

Oh that’s so neat to hear! I love my Lowery and even when I use my Gus stand, my Lowery is in use…holding my magnifier 💕

Helpful again! After having the Daylight Omega 7 for a few years, do you have any problems with the head falling down? I have the OttLite and I'm worried the post on it wont go through the holes in the light bracket on the Lowery stand.

This lamp looks perfect! I’ve tried the ott and many other desk magnification lamps, but usually the telescopic neck doesn’t get close enough to my stitching. I stitch in my recliner and have yet to find a good solution. I’m curious as to how you like this lamp after a few days of stitching with it. Are you able to use the magnifying part without getting in weird positions in your chair? 🤣🤣 sounds weird, I hope you know what I mean. I hope you enjoy your lamp. Thanks for sharing your unboxing. :)

I will definitely keep you posted. I have my feet up right now 🥰. This has a super long arm, so I can sit exactly how I always sit (I totally know what you mean - it took me a while to find the perfect set up for my lowery). I can swivel the whole lamp in my accessory bar, so that is a plus

Okay so I have to tell you.. I had a major wow ah ha moment.. made husband come and look.. never got a light bar since I didn't know what to do with one... now it is a must have! I have a light that would work great if I took out of the base. I recommend sewing a sock to cover your magnificent magnifier when not in use.

Oh yay! I’m glad you can do that. I’m not sure if you saw in the video, it comes with a handy, dandy cover! It snaps right on. Love, love, love it!!!

@@gracenotesstitchers-corrin6784 I saw it.. but I know I see alot of people lose it or it snaps on them.

Oh no! I hope that never happens. It’s so nice and easy to use. Thanks for the warning - I won’t be heart broken if that happens 😬

Thanks for the video. I’m in the market for one of these and this was helpful. I have a question, dies the light come in a softer version. It looked fluorescent almost. I wanted one with more of a light light yellow hint as opposed to the blue led type. Just curious. Thanks for the video!

I don’t think it does - it is dimmable, however! It’s more of a white light with a yellowish hue

Great unboxing video! Are you still enjoying using your new magnifying lamp? Also, have you had to weight the base of your Lowrey stand to prevent it falling over with the added weight of the lamp? Thank you
@gracenotesstitchers-corrin6784 Жыл бұрын
Thank you - yes, I love the lamp. I even take it to retreats with me on the lowery. I do have a 5 pound kettle bell weight on my lowery.

I have the same set up and love it. I have noticed that you use your frame backwards, is this an American thing?
@gracenotesstitchers-corrin67842 жыл бұрын
Not American - but they call it Stitching “in the ditch”. I use my frame like this because when I lean it against the wall, the front will not get dust on it. I would rather my legs brush against the back of my stitching, instead of me leaning over and brushing my stitches. For me, it’s to protect the stitches. Yes, the light has been a game-changer for me.

What is the black stand on your left that has your chart? Do you feel that you need that extra light? Have you tired the Lowery chart holder?
@gracenotesstitchers-corrin67843 ай бұрын
It’s an Ottlite with the tablet holder. Yes, I have used the lowery chart holder. It does much better if you use their magnet board. I use the tablet holder for my kindle. I am used to lots of light when stitching, so I’m not sure if I “need” it or want it. I like having light over me, for when I’m pulling threads, etc. instead of just having it on my project.

Have you found you really like the bigger lens size? I would love to know if you think the 7” diameter is totally better than a 5” and why or why not. I’ve even seen 6” diameters in some models. It’s hard to know which size to choose! Thank you for the video!
@gracenotesstitchers-corrin6784 Жыл бұрын
I have not tried the 5 inch, but I love the 7 inch. On my other frame, I have a 3”. It’s awful 😳. I like the 7, because it’s less moving the lens as I’m working in an area - I tend to go pretty far with my thread, so if I’m not having to constantly move my magnifier, I’m a little happier.

What's size of work area you can see without distortions from one view point?
@gracenotesstitchers-corrin6784 Жыл бұрын
I didn’t have any distortions. My cord went bad, and I just got a new one this week. Honestly, I’m struggling. I can only use the edges of the magnifier without distortion - i think this is a bad one!
