Toys R Us - No More - Empty Aisles - TRU Closing - End of an era

6 жыл бұрынJoin us as we venture to Toys R Us in its final days. We heard that this location is closing this week. We decided to check it out! The aisles are empty and a lot are blocked off. Come take a look!
The TRU stores in the U.S. are closing.
The "I'm a Toys R Us Kid" doll at the end, we rescued from the thrift store.

I remember when I was grown up the commercial always come on during the xmas season I always get excited and tell my mom I saw the first commercial and I recently went yo the one in Newyork,city that the bigger one pass time square they have everything even a cart wheel inside when heard they was closing I shook my head and said hopefully they bring it in the future much luv to toy r us and the USA & uk as well its bring joy all children all cross the globe.❤️😂😭👍🏼🌹😇

This is no fair that toys r us is god damn closing!My mom lost her job in toys r us and it really isn’t fair!Target barley even has toys.All I gotta say is that toys r us should be remembered forever

I'm going to miss one of the nearby ToysRus Stores. Especially The Largest one in Time Square. I wish I could just see it 1 last time.

Same here only 12 days left going to buy what I can cheap for my niece and nephew(If we have anything left)already bought 150.00 worth of items saved 170.00 bucks. Listen folks, either Toys "R" Us had a big good heart, and a magical place where kids could be kids, even with their Moms and Dads, and their grandparents too. As we still live in United States, if you wanna see Toys"R"Us again, maybe you should come travel and visit to Canada. It still safe for now, and it's got 82 locations. Not in United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Even it's still got a worldwide of locations too, like France, Asia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Germany, China, Japan, and more of international locations. This could be your chance if you want to shop at Toys"R"Us. It's your choice. So long.

Looks the same as all the ones I went to. Blame the old corporate guys. What is the worst thing is seeing how sad all the kids look. Even the employees Everyone really There is noting around anymore.

What the hell is wrong with the world! THIS is what "bailout money" should go to preserve and protect. Allowing an American Icon like this to go out of business in the U.S. is absurd. You don't let Apple Pie go out of business. You don't let Baseball to go out of business. You don't let Boeing go out of business. You would not dream of FedEx going out of business. You don't shut down a Foster's Freeze. And, you damn sure don't allow Toy's R' Us to get shut down. What the hell? I grew up in this toy store. I bought my first Aurora AFX Electric Race Trace from Toy's R' Us with the RC Cola LMP car. I had every stock car ever made (almost)!. I had one of the first Porsche GT cars. I had an original 67 Mustang GT. I bought the first Mattel Electronics Two Player handheld Electric Football game. I bought the first Milton Bradley Electronic Battleship with Live Action Sound! The Tudor Superbowl Electric Football Set with the Raiders vs Vikings!!! All Vintage Memories. You don't let something that provided so many childhood memories for so many boys and girls just go out of business like that. Some things are worth saving. How rude.

Sierra Riedel they won’t be going away down there they are an international corporation that is one of 3 things doing great in the countries they are in. 2. Not owned by Toys R Us in those countries. Or. Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Aka Toys R Us U.S.A and Canada. Canada stores are staying as of now.

It's true that Toys R Us kinda shot themselves in the foot by not being very competitive with their prices - especially once online shopping took off...but I still have many fond memories of the TRU near me, from when I was growing up. Even my 7-year-old liked when I'd take him there. It's just a shame seeing such a huge staple of many people's childhoods fade away.
