Motovlog - Charleston, WV

Thought I would take a short trip on my motorcycle through the city and show people some quick sights in Charleston. This is also my first Motovlog so I'm testing out my setup on my motorcycle.
So if you've never had the opportunity to check out Charleston, WV - enjoy!
Motorcycle and cam info:
Motorcycle - 2009 Kawasaki er6n
Cams:
On bike cam: SJCAM 4000 (go pro alternative)
Helmet cam: iON Pro wifi Lite
Audio recorder - Tascam DR-07mkII
Mic - Newer lav mic (3 for $6! - one didn't work but the other two did, LOL)
Footage shot as 720p @ 30fps (I think I'll try 60 fps next time)

I live just west of Charleston. It’s great to see it on the KZfaq! I started riding last year, but haven’t ridden into Charleston yet.

kkingquad you need to take a ride to Hawks Nest or a long ride to Lewisburg on rt60 if you like the curvy back roads....or to Fayetteville via Hawks Nest on RT 60. Another good ride on back roads is up to Ripley then over to Spencer the back down to Charleston. I tend to stay off the highway. A few yrs ago I road over to the blue ridge parkway, down to the Smokey mountains, tail of the dragon, Gatlinburg, then back to Charleston .....I camped along the way. My little 650 was loaded down with gear but had a blast. So keep riding but don't be crazy.

dbreardon no crazy here! I love back roads and fully intend to ride to Fayetteville. I want to turn right at Chimney Corner and back through Hawks Nest. I also want to travel the river to rt 34 and go to rt 21 in Kenna then back to Charleston on 21. Lewisburg is a bit far since my bike is so uncomfortable. Thanks for the info.

Did you start off in south hills going from 119 into kanawha state forest?

Alex Ward No, I started off from my home in South Hills near the forest going towards 119. I never went into the forest in this video. I need to do more since there are a lot of great riding areas within just an hour from Charleston.
