DC (and Marvel), when they do weird crossovers (often with each other, back in the day, and possibly coming back now that Bendis is writing for DC and slipping references - overt, mind you, not hidden or veiled - to Marvel characters into the new Young Justice run under the Wonder Comics imprint), have a tendency to 'call back' to stories that never happened, like Amalgam's Spider-Boy comics (amalgamation of Spider-Man and the Conner Kent Superboy) 'calling back' to a supposed "JLA: Judgement League Avengers" issue that was, according to the editor's note, from a year prior, when all the titles in each Amalgam run - there were two runs - only had a single issue and were all printed that same month.

McDonaldland is his home base. With mutated hamburgers that grow from plants, purple monsters that love sundaes with chemicals and a a yellow bird with razor sharp wings and beaks. Also a nice fellow who pays for his food instead of stealing it.

Disturbingly enough Colonel Sanders would actually get mad if his employee’s didn’t make his chicken right. He’d jump behind the counter, go off on them and then show them the proper way to make his chicken... he’d do this to every KFC he visited
