Agree, this aircraft is very underrated. The simulation is done to a T by Heatblur/Leatherneck, the aircraft is intuitive to operate, even though its differences to US/NATO standards and its breadth of capability is on-par with an aircraft 10 years its junior, if not more. Awesome piece of kit.

TIL you can engage reverse before you touch the ground. I always engaged it after touch, like a drag chute.

I am getting confused by the HUD after the symbology drops for the glideslope. It looks like the HUD steering indicator is far below the glideslope and if I follow it I end up well short of the runway. Is it not a glideslope indicator? Looks like you actually referred to the ADI glideslope, and once you intercepted it the HUD seemed correct again.

The Hud won’t show glide slope, once the glide slope is intercepted, The Hud will show where the runway is a senses you put your VV on the Hud solid line. Glide slope will be on your artificial horizon. However the hud will go down showing a rough decent angle that will give you 3 degree slope down to the runway

@@T-Tailer Ok. This is inconsistent with the manual.

@@machalot it really the manual says use ado and Hud for steering commands. If you intercept the glide slope and put your VV on the Hud solid line it will bring you down the gs. But if you want a indicator of high or low on the slope then the adi will show you.
