The crab alone cost 5,125 without GST. Which is exorbitant, a single crab of 1.6 kg will cost a maximum of 900 rupees. It looked like less than 1.5 kg. I can understand charging triple of that amount but 6 times the price. For that price you can buy a freaking huge lobster in a restaurant in Japan.

If you don’t want to eat at a place that says fine dining go to a dhaba to have crab. People like you want the clout of eating at a cricketers restaurant but with dhaba pricing. 😂

@@alito238 So he can't criticise anything now? Considering he went there and not just blatantly giving out opinions without actually giving a visit, I feel his review was valid. Everyone expects an expensive price in luxury restaurants, but somewhat reasonable. Around 5000 is expensive af for the smallest crab they got there. Even the rich would prefer eating somewhere else.

According to the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA), service charges are optional and voluntary. The CCPA issued guidelines in July 2022 that state that restaurants and hotels should not automatically add service charges to the bill. The guidelines also state that service charges should not be collected by adding it to the food bill and levying GST on the total amount. The Delhi High Court has also asked restaurants to use the term "staff contribution" for the amount they are claiming from their customers as a "service charge".

Not against non-veg but the suffocation & helplessness the crab faced due to being tied feels wrong. Please enjoy the food, but respect the life that got sacrificed. Do not make a mockery its life. We can but we don't because the staff works hard, it's clearly written on the bill and we respect the work they all put in so it's not a big deal to pay it.
