This suppressor is underrated. Every time I run it. In a class I get questions about it from half the students. It’s extremely quiet and kills flash completely.

I bought the nomad for my first suppressor and I absolutely love it. Dead quiet on my 10 inch 300 blk and it sounds great on my 6.5 grendel

I was just fixing to say... I seem to be experiencing some Deja Vu... 😂 But then I see you mentioned you had to re-upload it. 👍🏼 And I agree with your consensus... My Nomad-LT is still one of my absolute favorite .30 caliber cans. It's right there in DB volume with my OCL Hydrogen-L and TBAC Magnus-HUB.

One of the items about suppressors that I love, also on the nomad, it makes shooting a high power rifle so much more enjoyable. Really tames the beast. It's not just about the sound reduction

Just got my Nomad 30 today. 4 day wait! I submitted this past Monday got approved Thursday! Love that nomad it’s great! I’d compare the sound to a 22 without the crack of a 22 so overall very quiet! Have a Keymo and definitely had to break the keymo in but it’s a great can and I’m very pleased with it!

My first can was a Nomad-L (quietest can I own by far). I now own 9 cans. 2 of which are Dead Air. Also own Rugged (1), SiCo(3), Griffin (2), and SureFire (1). The most dainty cans I own are the SiCo cans. When I compare the SiCo Hybrid 46 to my Dead Air Nomad-L (for example) there is an extreme difference in build quality. Dead Air cans are SO much better quality and the engineering of Dead Air makes the SiCo Hybrid 46 feel like a plastic toy compared to the Nomad-L. Not apples to apples. I know. But still. My middle of the road cans are Griffin. Simple designs that work well, but nickel/copper or aluminum anti-seize is a MUST for those.

@@Nathan-jh1ho Good question. I would say it's a tie between Q Plan B and the SiCo ASR. Accuracy and security, none have failed me personally. I like the the SiCo ASR mount (the ASR was redone a few yrs ago and has been very good to me. Older ASR got a bad rep due to failures) (it's heavier but I like the locking knob. Works well), Q Plan B with Cherry Bomb has also been superb (lightest option & simple design like the DAir Xeno), and I like the Dead Air Keymo (heaviest of all mounts I own & it's worth mentioning folks have reported catastrophic failures due to user error improperly tightening ratchet system). I also have the DAir Xeno (light & simple) as well as SureFire Fast-Attach (came welded onto my RC2) (no issues & very easy). The Keymo has always worried me the most. No threads on brake, so I triple-check it every time I lock my can down.

My first can was the Nomad L in raw stainless finish and use it on my POF revolution it's AMAZING how well it suppressed. 308!!!

I shoot... A LOT. Have several cans myself. I just shot a PRS match this past weekend and a guy was running one of these with the brake end cap. He was shooting a 6.5CM, it sounded like a mousetrap snapping. By far the quietest can I've been around. Several other shooters running cans that day, none compared.

Which one would you recommend between the Nomad L, Hydrogen L and Hyperion? Those three seem to be the most "silent" suppressors for bigger rifles, although at the cost of back pressure.

You spoke very highly of the Dead Air Keymo mounts. How do they compare to the Silencerco ASR mounts? Are the interchangable on cans?

I watched a guy shoot his Hybrid 36 off the gun and 50 yards down the range bay...It was mounted with the ASR. Im guessing he didn't rotate the locking colar but it seems like an easy mistake to make.

I would like weld one on my PWS MK109. Then the barrel is over 16 inch and i can add a real stock. Thoughts?

Generally I think it would be better to just buy a stamp for your PWS. The reality of owning a gun with a welded can is it is hard to properly clean and maintain, in my opinion. But I had to do one to learn that as well. Thanks for watching!

Whoever said they have accuracy issues with the Nomad L is just ignorant. I use the Nomad L primarly with my American Rifle Company 6.5, and shoot well below sub moa. I run it with the Xeno mount.

At a range day last year I ran my POF 10.5 with my Nomad L. After I ran my drills there were guys behind me huddle up (no homo😅) with their ear protection off. Then they asked was I running 300blk. I said no. It's 556. Then when I said it was a Nomad L they had the same look as New Born that is pooping. LOL

Is it even worth getting a 5.56 can (I have a nomad LTi in jail first can 71days) Will be completely on bolt gun hunting application. Only thought for a 5.56 can will be a for a 22-250 coyote bolt gun and possibly cheap 5.56 ar one day. Cant seem to find a large 5.56 can that would make it work for my application that the nomad L won’t do. Hosts -270 bolt 24in sporterbarrel cutting down to 22in) -6.5 creed ar-10 18inch -300black bolt 16in -22-250 bolt gun 26in bull barrel (cutting down to 22)

Im waiting on a Wolfman to finish transfering, and my next can will either be a second 22 can (Rugged) or a DeadAir 30 cal, Sandman or Nomad whichever one is available.

Enjoy the Wolfman! It is such a great can and very versatile. I’ve used it on 9mm (MPX K), 300 BO, and 5.56.

@@ALovelyBunchOfDragonballz All great plans. For what it’s worth, I have ran my Wolfman on an 11.5” 5.56 AR without issue. Dead Air cans are beasts. I’m in the same boat where one of my next cans will be a dedicated 5.56 can like the Sierra5.

PSA pin/welds JMac KeyMo mounts that make 13.7” barrels 16.1” but supposedly also can’t mount Nomad cans; I haven’t tried my Nomad L yet but wondered if anybody had any trial and error insights?

I have a NOX muzzle device with Nomad 30. Deadair support said that older Nomad 30 did not fit, they offered to fix it but I didn’t want to wait so I just used drummel and trim the muzzle device, and it fits and works no problem. I can’t recall but I’m guessing, I trimmed like 0.3 inches or something like that.

Shopping for a can is so damn frustrating!!!! If I want a gun i basically know what I’m going to get .. Having zero silencers or knowledge in this department it’s frustrating. I’m really needing a 30 cal can and this looks like it would fill my needs great

I have a NOMAD L and love it. I use it on my .30 bolt guns. I think it’s too large for an AR-15. It is stupid quiet with my 300BO and .308 bolt guns. I decided to just get a dedicated 556 can.

Best advise is to buy a more "universal" oriented can for your first one, and honestly just buy it. Find a silencer shop dealer, slap some money down, then forget about it for almost a year until you get that email from the feds and take it home. If you did too deep you'll get analysis paralysis. Spend a little more on a well known and mainstream universal type can.

It's pretty bad. This can belongs on bolt guns and rifles with lots of room for adjustment on their gas systems. A simple two step gas plug/block is not enough. On a gas gun the plug or block needs to be nearly off.

It does have fairly high back pressure. On something like an AR it would benefit from an adjustable gas block. Thanks for watching!

Could you do a review of the AB Suppressors F-4? At 4.5oz it's so light that it apparently doesn't need a booster on most Browning type handguns.

I’ve got 1k rds on my Sierra 5, meanwhile my Wolfman just blew the weld on the blast baffle using subsonic 9mm. Really want the Nomad L but now looking into Otter Creek Hydrogen L

If you check the description there’s a video explaining the situation. Basically in January KZfaq made a rule change and almost all silencer videos had to be deleted. Within about a month they reversed that decision. But most people already lost many of their videos. This one was deleted, but since the silencer is still very relevant today I re-uploaded the video. From time to time I’ll put some of the old videos back up because I feel it’s important to have the knowledge in them available to the community. Thanks for watching.
