Before Halloween, there were rumors of another DBD and for honor cross over, with DBD getting a knight killer. While the crossover didn't happen, I'm so happy that we did end up getting a knight killer, and SUCH a cool one too!

The longsword with the flat tip was a execution weapon. Instead of putting someone's head down on the chopping block, they would use this sword to cut off their head while they were kneeling. I think it was supposed to be for more dignified people or something.

In my opinion this chapter has one of the best and most interesting lore behind it, as all the 5 characters are intertwined with each other and are not strangers like most previous original characters are. Without spoiling anything too important, Vittorio Toscano was the Duke of Portoscuro in Italy, while the Knight and his 3 guards were employed in the "Guardia Compagnia", a group of mercenaries also located in Italy. At some point they all met and things happened lol.

While Hubris seems like a strong counterpick to spring on survivors, since looping is the thing to do, confronting the killer can be actively avoided, especially on some older maps. The Knight's company is specifically designed to counter distance based looping, but it remains to be seen how it'll shake out. It's still early but Vitorrio's speed up ability will likely get a nerf simply because it synergizes WAY to well with certain other survivor skills.

Dang this spotlight had no reason to use that epic music. It's awesome as hell. I still need to get wesker though. If you haven't checked it out you should look at the species openings and endings for endless legends and endless space 2 they're pretty fun.

Yes, The Knight is For Honor inspired and you can tell it is. Knight, Demogorgon and Pyramid Head are some of the best to play as in DBD

Ya'lls reactions are some of my favorite, so cute. If I can make a recommendation from the ARK series besides more of the lore volumes which tell an amazing story. You should check out ARK Build Videos like from Aaron Longstaff, the creativity in the game is insane.

For me personally, Forged In Fog has been my favorite DLC as of late. Yes, they added Alien, and all that, but in terms of Lore, Gameplay, character designs, and just overall, Forged in Fog is by far my favorite DLC. My top 5 are Forged In Fog Resident Evil (for diversity, let's add both Resident Evil DLC's to number 2) Alien All-Kill Stranger Things (Ik the DLC is no longer purchasable, but I have it and I love it).

For reference, The Knight isn't a true knight: He was a slave to mercenaries, eventually earning his knighthood through years of bloody service to lords and barons. His friends, the Guardia Compania, were fellow slave-mercenaries, who he then freed by taking control of the mercenary company. He was absolutely not a classic chivalrous knight, one more forged by the real cruelties of war than any code of honor. After all, if that code of honor was true, he would never have been a slave to begin with, but he still has loyalty to his friends, as abominable as they are.

Yes the killer The Knight is a take from the Knights in For Honor this the Devs confirmed but he's not like a complete character from the franchise it's more like they take the whole premise of the Killer but not necessarily the killer itself okay so what I'm trying to say is they made the Knight they're own instead of how he is in For Honor😂.
