He is a showman. He has so much talent. I wish he would get out of his mau5 hole and make another Cthulhu driven banger or something basic but enthralling like Vanishing Point or Alone With You. I enjoyed the While Loop but I think his experiment was fun and its time to get back to work.

nope, he doesn't use headphones, the way his set works is with live midi and stem feeds, he doesn't use mixers, he has an ableton set open live, now he even has all the analog synths up there on stage with him playing the parts live. He does more than other dj's do by far, just his method doesn't require headphones. he does however have a separate pair of monitors on stage with him set so only he can hear them

megumi the exact reason is that there’s no point it’s already blaring throughout the stage and also what would he need it for? Most headphones are for ascetics not for any thing else.

chris crum false. Most djs use turntables that let them hear the premix of however many tracks they're playing, so that they can sync the tracks up more easily
