Not FNAF related, but for the upcoming Bendy movie, its needledrop should be the song "smile darn ya smile" for one thing, it's a 1931 song. second, its lyrics are positivity themed which would be interesting to listen to in the despair themed world of the cycle (and could have a dark humor scene showing a character having a breakdown while this song plays in the background). Third, it kinda associates well with bendy because bendy has an iconic grin. And last, the song was needledroped in "who framed Roger Rabbit", a live action/animated hybrid movie.

10:57 one little thing you missed though, everyone was killed in ways that reference the games, not just foxy and freddy's kills. In FNAF 1, Bonnie is the only animatronic you'll ever see in the supply closet and Bonnie kills his guy in a supply closet. In FNAF 4, you actually *can* in fact get killed by Carl the cupcake as he has his own jumpscare and the jumpscare looks similar to how the other guy was killed by the cupcake in the movie

Bonnie's closet sequence is also depicted in The Fourth Closet, the first novel, where he was depicted as hiding in an office several characters ducked into for cover. There are quite a few things in the movie that somewhat parallel TSE and its two later sequels in a similar way to the games, but it's definitely got its own identity despite that.

He’s still going to be active on the internet imo, and I wouldn’t be surprised if in 5-7 years (maybe after a trilogy of FNAF games concludes) he comes back and starts a weekly or monthly podcast, or he’ll pop in for cameos in the game theory episodes the new hosts start doing every once in awhile

the Freddy Kureuger stab wounds actually do show up again in the movie. After The ghost kids and Mikes family disappear in his dreams, the five kids each have their turn driving a knife somewhere into mike, which explains all the torn clothing and bandages in 17:56 when we catch up with Mike.

Okay so in the Lore, Chica is possessed by the soul of a little girl named Susie. Susie's dog had been hit and killed by a car but the murderer William Afton told her they found her dog and lured her to the backroom where she was killed. I believe that in the movie, the dog was a Chihuahua and is possessing the Cupcake

23:11 MatPat making a special Dead Meat appearance had me Surprised. The Movie was Great, the references they had in it were Good like Shadow Freddy and Sparky the Dog suits being shown. Cory, MatPat being in the movie was Cool and Matthew Lillard did an Amazing job playing William Afton. Love that the Classic FNAF theme song by The Living Tombstone in the End Credits. Although, it would've been Awesome to see Markiplier as the Guard in the opening scene that was getting chased by Foxy, who was the first animatronic to give him a Jumpscare in his FNAF Gameplays.

Could have been done with Foxy intentionally too since in Fnaf 1 Foxy comes out a lot more if the player isn't looking at the cameras and Mike in that scene was sleeping instead of looking at the cams

The giant probably 500+ pound metal machine that stomps about as it walks stealthily cut his wrist and ran off for... literally no reason I guess other than to just fuck with him? Like, did the real life Foxy just intend to scare him away or did it have something to do with him grabbing dream Foxy and real Foxy just went "Oh shit, he just grabbed my kid ghost version of me in his lucid dream, I better scratch him a little so he doesn't get any information probably, that's how this works maybe."

I'm just as hyped to have a MatPat cameo here than I was to see him in the Movie. Nice touch. The FNAF movie did exactly what it was supposed to do, which was to be a love letter to the fans and to bring new people into the Fazbear fueled madness. It was for the Culture.

I appreciate MatPat's character being named "Ness", an obvious nod to his most infamous Game Theory video that was relentlessly mocked (theorizing that Sans from Undertale was in fact Ness from EarthBound). Glad to see he has a sense of humor about it all these years later. I'm also someone who doesn't know jackshit about FNAF so all of this lore goes entirely over my head. But it's nice the fans have something to enjoy.

As someone else here said, the “come find me” bit at the end isn’t tied to Golden Freddy, but rather The Puppet, who first appears in FNAF 2, and features in a minigame where we’re shown how the kids got murdered, all the while, letters in the background spelling out stuff like “save them”. I’d bet that this is sequel baiting, which is definitely exciting, as if I recall correctly, a sequel has been announced. I’ll be so happy if we get to see the Puppet onscreen, it’s my favorite animatronic! I personally loved the movie, and I’m really glad you covered it! The MatPat cameo was also a pleasant surprise (just like in the theater)! I’m gonna miss him.

The thing about Afton is that he actually *did* die. But since the animatronics are able to trap souls, that's exactly the case for Afton. His soul is trapped inside of the suit along with his corpse.

Maybe for the inevitable sequel? I'm not a Fnaf fan due to brain incompatibility (seizures from trying it cause it does sound awesome but alas happens sometimes). I love seeing things made with passion for the fans do well. It's a joy I have never forgotten after Batman Begins that reshaped my views on adaptations entirely.

Scott has said that the novelization is slightly outdated from the original script with the main outlier being Doug being a pervert so Aunt Jane being dead could have been something they were going with before scrapping it and it somehow coming back.

One thing I genuinely love about this film is that, despite how many times I've seen it, I *cannot* tell the difference between the animatronics and costume characters. I genuinely cannot pinpoint any part of the film where I'm confident they used an actor and not an animatronic. Jim Henson did an absolutely phenomenal job, I'm so glad that the team decided to partner with them.

Some fans theorize that the "come find me" voice in the credits could be foreshadowing for the second movie because the puppet's music box was playing in the background. Some think that Mike's younger brother, Garrett, might be the puppet and that it's like a message to Mike to come find him.

I think the "cheesy ass sequence" is PERFECT characterization. It shows that the animatronics are still just kids, and they are just as playful as Abby

IMO I don't get how people defend that goofy ass scene. Sure they're kids but they are angry, vengeful beings who attack out of fear and anger. Years of rotting in those putrid suits turned them into wraiths of anger that would be unrecognizable to their parents. Also that scene completely breaks any tension set up in the film.

@scoobysnak07 because it fits the narrative. They are kids who made friends with Abby and could actually enjoy the childhood that was stolen from them. Their anger and vengeance is saved for the adults and not the fellow kids. The only reason they even saved Mike is because she told them not to hurt him.
